I've been the past two years and the standard very is impressive.
Certainly at the level of a top TAC match and the exposure to some of the non-TAC players is valuable.

i think #29 is lachie bennett
great lead, great pair of hands and works hard at ground level gathering plenty of 1%'s

kicked six in a losing side against GC this year

Selectors wanted to see how the TAC players pulled up after the weekends matches and have the MGS/SC boys train before a final decision was made.

Can understand why most of those blokes are unavailable, but I don't think the MGS boys are on TAC cup lists, so why are they not available?

Also, why are some TAC cup players available and some aren't? Do the players themselves make the call, rather than their coaches?

Given the quality of the players that are unavailable, the APS may find the going a bit tougher this year.

According to that list, there's 25 players available. Would be easy enough to pick a side from them I'd imagine, selectors have a pretty easy job this year.

nah, the mgs guys (lapin shaw macciolli) actually didn't want to - said finished theyre happy with the way the season's finished and apparently have a fair few sacs and are behind in work due to last week

Gus Lapin has been added as an emergency.
Unable to train due to other circumstances, but is keen to play if someone pulls out or they go with an extended bench due to TAC cup player involvement

your both wrong. the mgs boys didnt get told until the day of training so it was hard for them to get down with only an hours notice. all 6 of guys nominated would fo loved to have been told earlier and been able to train.

haha mate you sure have been proven horribly wrong..the standard of the game was very ordinary and wouldn't have surpassed something you would see at local level, let alone a good quality aps school football game...i agree that over the past few years the standard has been quite good but due to a lot of players not playing this year you would have to agree the game wasn't a great spectacle..

alex keath is in year 10 and even though extremely good i doubt they'll pick him. just like when they didn't pick him for the APS cricket team when he should of been in it. i doubt any year 10's have ever made the team
