I agree with that comment. Whenever I watch him dispose of the ball, he hits targets. That's just what he does. He so rarely ever misses a target or makes a bad decision with the ball. He's battling in a long term poor team but I reckon we could really get the best out of him.

2nd rounder + White + Moore? Probably not enough.

Agreed. We don't need him anyway. LJ, Spang and White should be battling it out to play next to Reid from now on. Don't need him down back with Reg, LRT, Teddy and AJ either.

Would still love Travis Colyer from the Dons.

To get Colyer you would have to part with Lewis Jetta and then some. So ain't going to happen

We will gladly part with Jetta, infact you can have him for nothing, or Colyer

Colyer even out of contract at Essendon? I thought, he would have been one of those youngsters that would be under contract or that Essendon wouldn't want to let go.

I wouldn't mind Lachlan Hansen from North Melbourne, if we can't get Taylor Walker from Adelaide.

Lachie Hansen is a key defender. We don't need another key defender. We need a FF, and Hansen has pretty much proven he can't play there. I'd prefer to stick with White, and I've been pretty unambiguous about my expectations of him up forward (though his performance on the weekend was encouraging).

That said, the North thread on the topic makes for some fairly hilarious reading.

I lolled, a few of them seem sensible enough to know that no matter how highly they rate him internally they'd be lucky to get anything more than a 2nd round pick for him, the rest are all delusional.

That being said I wouldn't want to be trading for Hansen, often looks like effort is the thing he is missing, not usually something you can teach.

Will certainly be looking at how white performs for the last few games of the season, we may not need to find a new FF if he has finally started to live up to our expectations.

He's a good contested mark but we would need him in the goal square where he's done SFA for north.

And yeah... had a laugh at the delusional north halfwits and their suggestions for a trade.

He's worth a 2nd rounder and a fringe player at absolute best.

I'd prefer we just persist with White after the weekends showing.

I think you will find it was the disgruntled goat fella, he rated him as one of the best users of the ball in the comp if I remember right.

No no no no no no no no .... no.

Davey is vastly over-rated. Gets big wraps when the Dees win, and he has skills but has the presence of a shadow. Would not go near either of the Daveys.

Sorry bout that, I was pretty sure you mentioned an aboriginal player that we should look at that would always hit his targets, thought it was a Davey.

Ted Richards
Has literally played 100% of game time in defence this year. He is a defender.

LRT has become a utility. Everitt was played as a utility. Look at what happens. It's almost a curse being a utility unless you are at the top level, like Goodes, Pavlich, Hodge, Goddard etc.

Not many mid range players are successful utilities. Adam Hunter is one of the few I can remember over recent seasons.

Adam Hunter: Utility player and first-rate fckwit.

As with all purely outside players, he can't get involved when he's not getting fed the ball. That's just the nature of their role. However, with a strong inside set-up feeding him, Aaron Davey would be exactly what we need. Alwyn is nowhere near as good a kick, he's just pace and tackling ability really, and is fairly overrated, but Aaron is quality.

Successful outside players still have terrific work rate, moving to position than moving to position again, doubling back to break a tag. It's a very well to say they need to be fed but they also need to make it to the shop in time for dinner. Davey's work rate can be poor and when it is he really goes missing.

Why Taylor Walker? He loves Adelaide with a passion, Barracked for Adelaide as a boy growing up in Broken Hill. Turned down other scholarship offers from other clubs...Does not want to leave, and now Neil is gone, nil chance. Very important to the crows.

Very little Adelaide would want from the swans. How is Johnston going? He has some talent surely?
