I liken it to lying back on the grass and staring up the sky. Feeling the ground shake in unison all about you makes you realise how small you are.Yes I have re-evaluated my life goals and actions as a result of surviving this near-death experience.
ridiculous in moe, thought the house was gonna cave in or something
yeah yet unbelievably our house has no damage whatsoever; our ironing board ended up leaning against a giant class cabinet full of glasses and vases, none smashed. a thin glass lamp fell, the top came off, but as it's supposed to, it's ****ing weird.Epicentre was just near Moe apparently so you'd have copped the worst of it.
5.2 allegedly.
I live in Heathmont i didn't feel it at all nether did the neighbours wtf...Not bad. Thought it was windy outside.
(Ringwood)
Was all the way down in Geelong too.
A girl I know who lives near there also didn't feel anything. I don't live far from there either and I still felt it. Weird how it was in some places and not others.I was at the Indoor Sports Centre in South Geelong and didn't feel a thing
Thank the Lord for Facebook, without which I would never had know about the quake at all
It lasted about 30 seconds or so here in Mooroolbark, my DVD's fell off my book case, my daughter also felt it in Cockatoo.

Victoria Police say they have received a number of calls in relation to the tremor.http://www.abc.net.au/news/2012-06-19/magnitude-52-quake-shakes-southern-vic/4080446
They say they have not received any reports of major damage.
The Victorian State Emergency Service (SES) says they have received 40 requests for assistance in the broader Gippsland area and parts of Melbourne, but no reports of significant damage.
The SES's Lachlan Quick says most of the request of assistance have come from areas near the epicentre.
"Most of those look like minor house damage. Cracked walls, cracked ceilings, I believe I've had one garage collapse," he said.
"We've also had some incidences of gas leaks which are a bit of a concern and we've urged people on those situations to vacate the premises until those situations have been rectified," he said.
