It's all relative. I just meant it that I've gone to a lot of games and I can recall him doing the same stupid shit every time. As soon as he marks 60 out and starts to run, my automatic reaction is to cringe.

For those saying Brown & Hale won't play a role in any premiership, you're clearly over-rating some of the outright hacks who (sadly) own premiership medallions, many of them being back-up ruckmen - see Adelaide circa 1997-8 (I think).

Both can have a (limited) role, but neither will ever be match winners. By all means if we have players more deserving, then drop these guys and play them, but currenlty I don't see that we do.

We clearly lack versatile talls - until Hansen steps up to the plate, and our other back up ruckman is yet to be battle tested at this level. That is an issue for the coming off-season, but for now I think they both are worth a game.

Brown also is a victim of his occasional burst where his talent shines through, builds up our hopes and then doesn't deliver - would get less criticism if he was consistantly mediocre like Watt who has never been seen as anything more than a trier.
