Sounds like the game was as dire as the scoreboard in the end.....good to get the clean sweep tho....can't remember the last time EF won all grades of footy.....SD must be struggling big time.....the reserves cement their top five spot and the colts end their 9 match losing streak.....funny enough with all their state boys playing bar Ruscoe....not sure any of them will see league footy soon tho.....but hey you never know.....

It was a dreadful standard game Freeze in perfect conditions the skill level was abysmal. You blokes in the end just made a few less skill errors.

Yeah so it seems mate....the scoreboard says it all sadly....that half time score was deplorable considering the good playing conditions....hopefully with Kommer and Loersch back EF can improve and finish off the season with a few more wins....big ask but 3 more should atleast give the coach and club some confidence going into next year....

I think SD colts got some last minute junk goals andana to appease the margin...EF colts all year have kicked poorly on goal....definitely better after half time, but poorly early on. After 9 losses on the trot, I think the 4 points were more than welcomed irrespective of winning margin...

Looks like Loersch has a back injury and out for the season....pity that, because EF forward line definitely looks small without him....good opportunity for Bonomelli to state his case, but the kid needs to impact the scoreboard more.....

Once again Peel kick the last 2-3 goals of the game v EF to win....losing Strnadica to injury didn't help.....with Sharp playing well I can see Monaghan giving the likes of Luke Jackson and Trent Rivers are crack at league footy with 4 games left post bye....nothing to lose.

As we head into our last bye, Football Manager, Brad Dodd gives us a run down on the season to date and progress of the playing group.
Q: After a block of 5 games, how did you see the progress of the group?
It was a bit of a mixed bag where we played some good football in patches but weren’t able to sustain it for long enough. We were disappointing against West Coast and Subiaco, but it just reinforced that we have a little way to go before we can match it with the stronger sides. We had our opportunities against Claremont and Peel but couldn’t execute when we needed to.

: What has been your take on the season to date?
We’ve had a new Coach, Football Department and Coaching group come in and try and revive a club that had lost its way a little. The players have been excellent in trying to lift their own standards and the standards of the whole club. We’re in a far better position than we were 12 months ago but we need to keep striving to get better.
On the field we have seen emergence of some good young players; players we think will become really good WAFL footballers. It’s important we keep challenging and pushing them to get better and our Senior players and Coaching staff are driving that.

What are you looking for over the last 4 games?
I think it’s really important we continue to improve and build on the season to date. We have the youngest squad in the competition but we expect them to continue to strive to get better. Hopefully our Reserves can lock away a Finals spot and the Colts continue their recent good form.

Considering EF will have about 4-5 kids drafted for no return mate and it's a dead rubber for EF, can't blame them for giving up a home game for some coin....sign of the times I guess

Watched the East Freo V East Perth colts and East Freo have some real talent and were the better team, however they got a arm chair ride from the umpiring which was the worst i have seen in colts this year by a country mile.

EF colts have beaten all the top sides this year with their state boys playing.....thus suggesting if they had won a few more games without the state boys they would be one of the favourites to win the flag.....but that is hypothetical come end of the day.....

Yep great to get a clean sweep v EP.....though not a good sign coughing up a 22pt lead early on the last to fall behind in the dying stages.....did something similar v WP the week before, coughing up a 4 goal lead just before half time....the reserves got a much needed win in their quest for a finals spot...esp since EF reserves only have one game left compared to their rivals two games left.....another big week v Perth too coming up....be nice for the reserves to cement their top five standing and for the league to finish of the season with a couple of wins.....though Perth will be desperate for a win to cement their league finals spot....apparently for the first time in 20 years......

East Fremantle Football Club veteran, Jack Perham, announced his intention to retire at the end of the 2019 season to the Coaching and Playing group last week, after a career spanning 10 seasons and 121 games.
Jack, a product of our strong Mid West zone, made his way down to Shark Park in 2008, playing 3 Colts games. Jack recalls he was likened to a young Nick Riewoldt
