As we enter the third round of season 29 we mark our first games milestone for the season:

Drunkgoliath

Drunkgoliath arrived on the scene in the middle of season 26 when the club was chasing some new blood to keep it rolling after buoyant campaigns in the preceeding two seasons. Initially there was some confusion as to whether this player may be an alias of Harvey Manfrenjensenden, who recruited him to the Sweet FA. It was soon realised by all that DG had far better taste in music than what was found out to be his older brother.

Debuting in round 8, which happened to be that season's heritage round against a BRAB mentored Gumbies side, DG entered the fray with a response to a tag in from yours truly:

Water off a ducks back.

So I just found this thread, that was quite a read trying to catch up

We were at page 12 on a Thursday, so it was a somewhat slow thread by current standards, and DG fired two most posts for the remainder of that week. It was well reflected in his 3 kick, 1 mark, 2 handball stat line, and in an omen of what would plague him for a number of seasons, he was subbed off and finished the game on the bench.

Like the poster the qootier would build on that: his most recent game is his second best on record. The best? A 22 touch, 10 mark, 3 goal performance in a loss to a rampaging Furies outfit in Rd 7 of Season 27 where DG would also top the team's player ratings for the week.

To Drunkgoliath: congratulations on your imminent 50th game!
