Billups hits two free throws to get the margin to 94-89. Magic call time out with 2:21 remaining. McGrady is just crazy...he is 15/26 from the field, 3/6 from deep for 40 points. To go with 3 assists and 7 rebounds.

It's not about who is the better baller, it's about which team got the better of the deal.

Right now, the Pistons are CLEARLY in front.

But neither team got all that better. Detroit may have gotten a tiny bit better but before they had Rip, they won the Central Division title and posted 50+ wins. They did the same when they dealt Stack for Rip except this time, New Jersey wasnt as good so they snatched the number 1 seed for the playoffs.

Washington had the exact same record as the previous year. So neither team really got that much better.

The Pacers let it slip in the fourth and go down 103-100. Pierce gets hot in the fourth and scores 40 pts including 21/21 three throws. Battie was ejected for a flagrant foul on Artest.

Yeah Pierce was crazy in the last quarter for the C's. Just on Isiah's clock management and timeouts. Not all the blame can go on him as twice during the fourth. The Pacers players almost loose the ball or get caught in a trap and call a timeout to keep posession of the ball.

Peirce was awesome though....21/21 in a hostile arena with playoff pressure! Clutch.

Pistons within 1, 94-93 on two free throws from Billups...Robinson fouls T-Mac...McGrady makes the first...95-93, one to come, 45 seconds left!

Interesting to note that Philadelphia doesn't have the sexiest record at home this season. I think, by memory, it has lost 16 home games, which is the equal worst record in the whole playoffs. Therefore, I give New Orleans a HUGE chance of getting over the '76ers, even though they have been the best team in the EAST for the second half of the season. It calls for an interesting playoffs series in the East.

Last year we saw Indiana push New Jersey (#1 seed) to a fifth game in the first round of the playoffs, where New Jersey won the game in a dramatic Overtime. I believe Milwaukee has no hope of eliminating New Jersey. No way known. New Jersey in five.

Last year Detroit was defeated by the (#7 seed) Raptors. The Detroit and Orlando series is an interesting one. I hope we get to see a T-Mac and Wallace match up. That ought to be exciting. Orlando could almost push Detroit here and eliminate it. I'm going for Detroit in seven. I believe Detroit needs a better attack. Hamilton is good, but not great.

That turns the attention to the Pacers and Celtics match up. Now, this one I like. I really like this one. I am actually tipping the Celtics to get up and win this one in six games. Pierce, Battie and Walker are too good and I just can't see the Celtics getting eliminated in the first round, even though they come up against a daunting task against the Indiana Pacers.

For what it’s worth, I’m backing my Hornets to defeat Philadelphia in six games.

Paul Pierce is outstanding. I love the way he goes about his game and if he continues to fire, along with Walker who will find his way into the playoffs, then the Celtics could be very dangerous.

And then there is McGrady...

And to top the heroics, we have A.I who scores 55 pts, hits 21-32 FG, 3 treys and 10-11 FTs as Philly beat the Hornets 98-90

Iverson will not let his team lose in the first round! Philly will definitely take the series.

Pacers tie the series at 1-1 thanks to Jermaine O'Neal 20-20 night (23pts 20 rebs)......

Can't wait for game 3.:)

This series should go atleast 6 games

Go Pacers!

Geee what Playoff series we have in the East.
I Belive overall that Boston are the best team in the East they just have that Star quality most others dont.
Detroit lack that match winner for a number 1 seed and that was evident as T mac took game 1 for the Magic :D and i belive that if Orlando take the next game the series is all but over.

Hornets are dangerous with a very settled line up and Davis Running the show.
And then theres the Nets with Kidd and Martin.

I just hope the Magic can peak now becuase i think they are very dangerous and could do anything playing there best ball.

No Matter what the West will once again provide the NBA champions and all the more likely that being Lakers.

Whooaaaaaaaaaaaa! Toni Kukoc!!
He still has it.

He was the difference between a win and a loss, no doubt about it. Kukoc just dominated!

I think New Jersey will put the foot down now and win both in Milwaukee to break their backs. K-Mart having a great series which really underlines the Bucks front court problems.

Detriot win game 2 despite T-Mac's 46! McGrady hit's more shots than the rest of the team put together! The Magic have to find some more contributors if they expect to get another 3 games off Detroit. T-Mac can only do so much.

****!

"Kenyon Martin absolutely manhandled Mase under the board on that play, to lose like that on a ****in referee's decision is a disgrace" - George Karl.
I agree... ROBBED!

Apparently TJ Kidd has broken his collerbone in the incident when Jason fell on him as he dived out of bounds.
Poor kid.

It was the right call. The referees left the game in the players hands. Rogers hit and the Nets win, he misses, OT or perhaps a Bucks rebound, time out and a chance at the win.

Gotta leave it in the players hands.

Rogers went from no clutch to all clutch in seconds :D Nets will take Game 4 and all but end the pesky Bucks.

Awww poor TJ. Kidd probably felt real bad, barreling into his own son like that and then having to leave and get on with the game.

It's a ****in playoff game, if a guy is trying to box out and a defender wraps his arm around him and drags him away from the ball you make the ****in call!!
Game 4 is gonna be as physical as any playoff game you'll see this year.

Toni Kukoc again! 23 points in Milwaukee's 119 to 114 win over New Jersey.

It's all about Kukoc...if he can continue to fire then the Bucks may actually win the series, but I doubt it. 2-2 though heading back to NJ.

Magic got up to lead 2-1 with another game to come in Orlando!

Pacers currently in battle with the C's. Last I checked the Pacers were up by 3 points in the second quarter.

New Orleans got one on AI to avoid going down 3-0. Game four all important now.
