No, everyone assumes we did. There's a difference.
Bomber Thompson himself said whatever happened at Essendon would never be allowed to happen at Geelong as Robinson didn't have anywhere near as much influence at Geelong as he did at Essendon, and any suggestion Dank gave Robinson would have to be cleared by the club doctors and Steve Hocking and Neil Balme before it was ever implemented.
Here's another interesting tidbit for you too. Dank actually had an interview at Geelong with then football manager Steve Hocking (yes, the same bloke all your cronies on the Tigers board believe have rigged the rules to help Geelong) for a job back in 2007 at Robinson's request, but was knocked back. So, as much as you'd like to believe Dank had influence at Geelong, the truth of the matter is he never was employed at Geelong in any capacity whatsoever.
