Play on, You have serious problems buddy, The Essendon Football Club use their "stand alone" vfl team to develop talent, nothing more. By playing youngsters we arent expecting major domination , we expect solid development, which we are getting with the likes of Bannister,Hunt,Richards etc in the best often enough. This will then flow on and benefit our all conquering first team when more great youngsters come into it. God we can develop them cant we, Corey Mcgrath debuted Saturday Night, he can certainly play too. Life is so good, if only Glenelg would play up to their potential !

As I said before, who cares about the ladder position in the vfl, We just want to keep playing the kids who are getting in the best each week, thats what we use the vfl for, the afl is the one where you worry about your ladder position, and we are frigging good at that haha !

The fact is that we hear from 100% of your supporters telling us how good the depth is. You wouldn't know it going by the results this year.

And an Essendon supporter told me that they were thinking about merging with Port Melbourne. I am not sure how this will affect the Swans who are with port at the moment. This can't be good for your club can it? Port Melbourne will use half of their players and the other half will be the best from your club. So the kids will be affected if this story is true, because a lot of them won't be picked.

Our depth is superb. Guys like Mcgrath,Bolton,Robran etc all can come into our team and play well. Plus we have a long injury list. At the end of last season the club made a decision to get rid of all the older fringe types eg. berbakov,prior etc, and then draft all youth. This way when the older guys(theres not many of them) in our current dominant team are gone then we will have ready made replacements to make sure this great dynasty continues and we wont have to go through a rebuilding phase like most pwerhouses do at the end eg. hawthorn,north etc. The only ladder that matters to the essendon football club is the league one, and we dominate that !
