BRAD Ebert's manager has refused to be part of a mooted three-way deal between West Coast, Adelaide and Brisbane that would see Mitch Clark become an Eagle and Ebert a Crow. The proposed three-way swap, which the Eagles would have had to sweeten with a draft pick, would have also seen Adelaide's Kurt Tippett become a Lion as each player returned to their home state.
The tough stance from Ebert's manager Justin Reid, who insisted that Ebert must go to Port Adelaide in this week's AFL trade week, increases the likelihood that Fremantle will be able to seal the deal to make Brisbane utility Clark a Docker.

Well when you consider we are up to our 3rd thread on Gunston (almost 3000 posts), talk about Ebert is pretty quiet.

You weren't keen on Scott Thompson but you are keen on Ebert, hmmm interesting.

If his name wasn't Ebert would you be that interested, I doubt it.

As for the 3 way deal which is effectively Tippet for Ebert, no way in hell would you do that trade. I wouldn't give up anything more than a pick in the mid 20's for Ebert, although I haven't given up hope that we show some balls and trade Tippett.

I'd love to have him at the Crows for what you'll pay for him if there is no competition for his services.

In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if you ended up getting him for nothing in the PSD as you have 2nd pick, and Gold Coast have no room in their salary cap.
