If his name wasnt Ebert, and a first round draft pick with 4 years and 70 games experience stated his wanted to come play for Port then yeah, I'd say we would still be interested. But his name is Ebert, so its a moot point anyway.

We were keen on Thompson. We were just too slack and Adelaide showed due dilligence in chasing him for longer.

I know of a 1st round draft pick with 150+ games of experience who you can have nothing.

It's the issue of the price tag.

If we comes cheap, we could certainly use him. If we have to pay a high value, he's not that important to us.
