I'm more of a burger man myself.

More accurately, I'm more of a two burger man.
Burgers may have worked for you to become a fat undersized ruck, but there's many paths to becoming fat. Let Ed find his own.

If the club is looking for a reverse dietician I’m available

It's a skill. You can even do it with salad if you know what you doing.

Caeser salad - remove the lettuce (what a waste of time) and it's fried bread and bacon covered in cheese and oil - it's a perfect base as long as you pile the plate high enough.

I can make water unhealthy by adding barley and hops

It shows how soft AFL players are. They're not willing to push through the pain of hangovers and indigestion that you need to to become fat. Stringer at least has a crack ...
He inspired doughy men across the country. Even we could be professional athletes who never live up to their potential

I'd love to chime in but physically I'm in great shape, however, mentally I'm like an outdated date

What are people’s thoughts on Ed’s game yesterday. Kicked a goal but did he do anything else? I saw one go through his legs. Can he mark overhead?
Finds it hard to get involved, doesn’t impose himself enough.
Has talent but needs to work on this more.
Smart goal, then did himself undone.
In fairness not sure whether it was a dodgy bounce or just misjudged.
Looked like the umpire also might have been in his vision.
Still have hope, but not ascending like I had thought.

A modest performance. Coaches see enough to bring him straight back in so that warrants some confidence I guess in him. I just have not seen him really take it up a notch this year.

In terms of yesterday's game, all the good he did was completely overshadowed by the terrible miss where he ran past / over the ball at such a critical time that gifted Omera an easy goal. Not sure how he missed that as he was in the clear - if he had simply fallen on the ball to at least trap it and find a handpass that may have limited the opportunity for Freo to score ... but alas

Kicked a very nice goal and counterbalanced it with a howler. Covers enough ground, but didn't improve our movement inside 50. 237 m gained, 0 goal assists.

I've no opinion on his ability to mark yet, but I am happy enough with his development.

Fantastic runner and he's improving - but the rest of his game still isn't much chop. i doubt he'll hold his spot if we get troops back.

He's teasing without taking the next step. We needed him to step up but is just taking so long. I wonder if Parker could play wing. His composure would be handy and is certainly quick enough

Endurance seems to be the non-negotiable for wing. No idea where Parker sits

We know Ed has elite endurance and speed.
Given how slow we've been at times, we need that.

Problem is he's very poor at demonstrating this much talked about speed.

You can't say the same thing about a McCreery, Hill or Naicos.

He needs to improve the explosiveness in his game and for it to become a weapon for the team.
