A few times he seemed to get a little lost in play. Still seems a little unsure when to go.
I think it's a confidence thing once he gets more regular senior footy, should hopefully sort itself out.
He is so close to a break out game. I loved the way he was sticking up for Nick and others. I reckon I saw some decent marking potential as well, which would be amazing

I hope he is just a quarter away from taking the handbrake off, looks to be blessed with skills and athleticism, he's not scared or anything, just hesitant.

Players emerge from their chrysalis in stages sometimes. I saw a little something from Nick Daicos in the Geelong game, must've been in the third.

he was in a pack, went on a baulkfest, zero room ro move and chopped out a 35-40 metre snap on goal that someone punched through at the last moment (great bit of defence).

It was as though Daics suddenly unlocked a bit of extra forward craft, so reminiscent of his dad.

We might see Allan wake up a bit at a time, certainly worth persevering with and so much promise.

You hear AFL players talk about the game slowing down for them so they look composed and feel they belong at the level. It hasn't dropped for Ed yet but hopefully not far away. He has the tools thats for sure

His kicking is a bit slow and up and under at the moment. I'd like to see him flatten out his kicks by using more hip rotation in his action. That split second faster it takes a ball to traverse 40m to a teammate, makes a huge difference.
I'd say the same for TJ from the little I've seen of him so far.

Is it normal for players on the wing to sit off their opponent by such a large distance? It sure gives you a different perspective to watch live.
If we're talking about the fat side of the ground, then it is normal for us. We push one wing to be an extra mid and the other seems to guard midfield space. It's how we're forcing sides wide against us and almost dares them to try going through the middle. Something like that anyway

I thought he was a lot better today, and showed glimpses of the player he could become. The only downer was him giving away a 50 metre penalty in the last quarter, which came at a crucial time in the game. But most players do dumb things like that at times ,so you can forgive him for that mistake,

It was the fact that ignored the short pass. Turned his back on players in better position.

That, and the bad 50m penalty, suggests that he'll be back in the VFL next week.
I thought most things he did today were an improvement on last week. I think he'll hold his spot.

I must have been watching a different game , I thought he looked out of place today and not up to it.

He gifted Adelaide two goals from errors - one handball that was cut off by Rankine in the 1st and then a stupid 50m penality in the last .
