Other main thing to work on (based solely on AFL I don't wtch VFL) would be his defensive marking contests, even with his height seems not to get a fist in as often as he could

Such praise. 4th in disposals and 2nd in tackles. It was a lot better and probably first time he has provided a material contribution. Hopefully a confidence builder. Was a bit better tonight
He doesn’t ‘play’ like Lipinski at all, lol, he just has a tendency to tackle like him.Plays a lot like Lipinski. Still not convinced (his best moments were all in the landslide) but he's definitely finding his feet and showing he can be a contributor. There's definitely no room for both by finals time.
Looks like he is a Confidence PlayerYep, the wing is his spot. Good to see him get more involved and probably have his best game. Use his running power. He's actually a good kick and want to see him use it more. I reckon he'll start flying for his marks as his confidence grows. Does need to be stronger with his tackling, got 8 tonight, but they weren't good tackles
That's his weapon at the moment, his run and ability to link. He can look to add to that, has the physical attribites, but it's enough to start a career on. As he's become more comfortable in the team, he's starting to get more involved.I want him to succeed. He's clearly getting better. And he's fit, which means he gets to lots of contests which is a great platform to build on. But I still don't really see his weapon.
Crisp is an elite marker and runner, above average kick, clearance machine on top. At the moment Allan is a link man, like Lippa.
The thing I liked the most about this was that Allen, Naicos and long were all involved in that passage that will be our midfield for the next 10 years. That chain of play he started from half back and continued with gut running which resulted in a goal was excellent and really got him going in that last quarter. You could just tell that was the moment tonight that he started to feel like he belongs at the level and he was noticeably more involved from that point.
Hopefully he carries that through to next week.

Ed has played less than 10 games.
Look at Kouta as a physical comparison. He took years to develop but the end product was incredible. Enormous upside in Ed. Let him get 50 games under his belt and develop his overhead marking. Will be a star.
