I put Considine in the "played too many games for his ability" bracket:

David Flood
Michael Werner
Kieren Sporn
Peter Berbakov
Paul Hamilton
Dean Bailey
Judd Lalich
Aaron Hennemann
Courtney Johns

Please feel free to continue this list! :thumbsu:

Dennis Scanlon- step ladder for T.Barker.

The other thing about Ed is that he was a Sheedy favourite, unsurprisingly.

I thought Dean Bailey could play as well, injuries and lack of athletism counted against him. One of the few late 80s early 90s players to have a beard!

Barry Besanko (yes I know) was as quick as a hare in his 2-3 games, but by god he had no idea whatsoever in regards to anything else.

Trevor Spencer looked like a footballer until he actually started playing.
Barry Day came over from WA in '80 (?) with big raps but was very disapponting.

Ed, Bailey and Flood were going to be our next group to take us forward in late 80s. Luckily we quickly realised that they maybe that was not going to happen.

Brad Plain was a talented fottballer btw, more prob with his attitude. Antrobus was talented but very unlucky with injuries.

Can anyone remember John Fidge?
He played 1 night game , took a mark on the boundry and had his kick smothered. Thats all i saw of him.

Bit of a goal kicking legend in SA wasn't he? Did not have the chops to stick it out in Melbourne, went home and stayed there. Would have been interesting to see how he went had he stayed. Potentially could have been a brilliant player for us.
