Just curious as to what is happening with Ed Curnow.

Very very little has been said of him recently and was curious if anyone knew how he was tracking?

Last I really heard of him was during the B&F broadcast.

After his injury, he took a while to find some good form. He was looking good late in the season with the Bullants but he wasn't going to be called up into the side during finals.

He really wasn't expected to perform as well as he did at the start of the season so I'm not too surprised to see him take his time to build his form back up. Solid pre-season and go again.

Yeah, that shoulder really stopped him in his tracks. He was avg 20+ possessions a game before he did his shoulder. Was having a bloody great season untill then. Lets hope he can find that form again next season.

Injured a shoulder. had a bit of time off. came back and was very stand-offish. not sure if this exposed some mental softness and a lack of resillance as he never had a go or if he carried a crook shoulder or another injury from then on. the lack of desire, intensity and unwillingness to go any where near a contest was a worry. probably just carried a crook shouldrr through the year

I just hope he can return to the Ed Curnow we saw earlier in the year, before the injury. It completely ruined him and he could never truly get back into it.

Besides having a drop punt that went more vertical than it did horizontal and threatened to take out domestic aircraft, he was a very reliable and handy centreman who could push himself hard and really spread around the ground. Could kick a goal too.

Was my favourite player at the beggining of the season where he was awesome in the centre clearances and gathering possesions around the ground (he even chipped in with a goal or two).

Hope he can re-capture his form.

With the way Ed started the year it had me really excited. It reminded me of the way Barlow from Freo just burst onto the scene. Got my fingers and my toes crossed that Curnow can regain that form. Its easy to have a short term memory even from the start of the year, but Curnow was a real contributor before he got injured and was just the sort of player we had been looking for.
