Rather keep him but if we could trade Pick 5 or 6 plus Ed to Carlton for pick 1 -> Lukosious
Doubt it would happen
I’d prefer pick 6 and Ed, than pick 1.

That’s what I said I would rather keep him but if what they say about Lukosios turns out true we miss out in a generational forward talentI’d prefer pick 6 and Ed, than pick 1.

I agree in principle. I wouldn't willingly offer Ed but...Bird in the hand. I'd rather keep him as he's coming along nicely. Better that than the unknown in a draft. Langdon + whoever we get at pick 5 or so will still be better together than a single player.
The way I see it Graham Polak was in the mix to go at pick 1 in THE superdraft back in the day. No guarantees.
Schache was a mark and kick player and to be honest I think his knock is not his football but his head. There is no way the club is trading Ed, nor should it. He just spoke about wanting to be a 1 club player.
I'm also hesitant investing that much into a tall in the first round. Tom Boyd, Josh Schache and Paddy McCartin were seen as generational talents also. I think we have just as much need for a marking medium forward that is clever around goals than we do a tall forward.
Taberner may not be a superstar but is a key cog we can work around. Cox continues to develop. Don't write them off.
What happens if we lose cerra and langdon? sheesh.

friendly reminder the last hyped up generational key forward drafted was Tom Boyd
I suppose this is the knock on the TAC cup as it doesn't allow the kids to suit up against seasoned bodies before being drafted. the WAFL and SANFL allows this and it gives AFL clubs an opportunity to see if it is a case of a kid in a mans body or if they can actually match it with bigger bodies and have a football brain. Was he doing what this kid is doing each week in a league against actual men?
Even though I hate GSW there is something satisfying about Lebron potentially getting swept. We hire Danny Ainge on a short term contract and start trading*
*Apologies to the non-NBA crowd.
We hire Danny Ainge
