You'd think that being 4 years into a 7 year contract we are kinda committed to it now...

One thing I love about Ed is how strong he is overhead. If you look at whose going to be our half back rebounders over the next few years, Williams, Crozier, JJ and Ed I'd say theyre all well above average in the air compared to your half back rebounders at most clubs, Id go as far to say Williams and Croz are elite relative to their role. Throw in Wood, whose more of a specialist interceptor 3rd tall rather than a rebounder, whose elite and the likes of Adams/Naughty/Young who all are or have the potential to be elite interceptors and were going to be very hard to score against.

They just need to stay on the park and get as much game time together as possible to gel, throw in above average midfield pressure and were going to completely blanket teams defensively in time. I'm positive that our defense will be well ahead of the game very soon, just needs time.

Yep, the sooner he comes on the sooner JJ will get a bit of space. At the moment JJs the only one you really have to put attention into to really dry up our run. Although I suspect BW will start copping a lot more attention in the coming weeks which might allow JJ some freedom
