Why bother comparing stats when Betts gets so many of his goals in junktime?

Not trolling here, but even Carlton supporters know him as a player who often does nothing until the game is over. See Melbourne and Fremantle games.

Should we also see opening Carlton goal on Thursday night after a great contested grab? What about coming up with key goals when the game was in the balance early in the third?

Or maybe the NM game when he was going goal for goal with Thomas and brought us back into the match?

I don't agree. Betts kicks most of his goals when the game opens up a bit and we get in it quickly...whether that's the beginning, middle or latter stages of a match.

wrong. betts kicked 1 junk time goal when it was 50 odd points the difference. the previous 4 goals were kicked when the game was still live.

pretty tight for mine atm! prob both deserve to be in there atm. both very dangerous on the field. Will be interesting to see whether new police proceedings effect milneys game at all. Both have the tendancy to go missing at times, betts is very much a burst player & when he kicks a goal he generally gets more in quick succession. He can also go into the midfield & has great defensive pressure. Milne a pure forward & tip rat, that has had some major influences on games.

Betts for mine so far this year just.
Milne over the years has been a great player thou & one of the best fp's in a long time, still hate the **** thou!

I think Milne deserves at least 1 AA in his career. I mean he didn't get 1 in 05 when he kicked 60 odd!?

Has kicked a goal in every game, including 5 and 4 against Freo. 2 against Geelong and the Dogs and 1 against Collingwood. Noting we kicked about 25 goals in those last 3 games.

Eddie done alright with 5 against us, 4 against Freo and 3 and 2 against Collingwood and Geelong.

So in conclusion they're both doing pretty bloody well. And in my completely unbias opinion I reckon Milney should get it
