Well, yeah, Tex and Jenkins will most likely be back, but I had a gut feel at the time that he was talking about players coming to the club.
Might be a more interesting trade period than many were anticipating.

I'm not suggesting Pets is as good as Betts (he is also 3 years younger) more just a reflection of the two players.

I'd say in terms of the team, it will be Callinan out now with Pets to stay in.

Callinan to lose his spot on the list and Pets to keep his.

In terms of the actual team, the 2 hardly played together so its not a case of 1 or the other.

There will be times when we play both pets and betts though I think. If only to see how the forward line functions with both.

Our forward line is going to be sexy next year. Jenkins was actually not bad vs the 1st defender every week. Imagine how good he could be with the 3rd or 4th best defender on him... Epic. Eddie and walker will work well together I think and danger will be mauling the contested footy and outside run from time to time.

This crows team we are building is going to be awesome. Crouch to have a breakout year next year, danger to come super close to the brownlow or even win it and crows to win those extra 6-8 games we lost this year by 10 or less points.

I actually believe that Eddie Betts could play for another 6 seasons, his injury history is minor, he workload in the midfield has been limited and like Boomer Harvey as long as he keeps his speed he could play until he is 33

Congratulations guys. Really hope Eddie does enough for the Crows so you will grow to love him as we do. Just can't be upset with guy for looking after himself.
