Hypocrite and I reckon everyone who follows the game would know it by now. He also didn't mind mentioning Collingwood every few minutes during the NM v Crows broadcast today. A special was 2 or 3 minutes after Seedsman gets a kick he brings up how Seedsman's grandfather play 8 games for Collingwood. JD gave him a backhander, telling him no-one cares but spoiled it by adding "only joking". This was after mentioning Ed Richards (Bulldogs) is the grandson of former Collingwood player Ron Richards. No-one does care Big hEddie.

Literally went on about the exact same thing almost word for word during the Essendon v Adelaide game the week before - Even made the same 'joke' about being the last President to play a game and that 'he still had time' to play a game himself

It's the part of Eddie that has annoyed me over the years. He firmly believes attack is the best form of defence, and when challenged he comes out swinging. He seems to lack the ability to debate calmly and sensibly, he just goes for the jugular, and many people just back off because they can't be bothered arguing. Has been a great President for Collingwood but surely it's time the club addresses his tenure. His on-air tantrums, walking off the set, etc, should not be tolerated.

Eddie has been great for Collingwood but he had reached his use by date. And that was a few years ago IMO. He is determined to see Buckley win them a flag and we all know if it wasn’t Buckley he wouldn’t have made it this far.

Agreed. This entire episode has exhibited the distorted sense of entitlement most people involved in the AFL has. There are people losing their jobs and not allowed to travel more than 5kms from their homes, and here are AFL players and wives galivanting around as if they are on holidays. There are people dipping into their superannuation just to pay the bills, and this silly bitch can just blow $20k on beauty treatment!!! The mere suggestion they may need to take a cut to their bloated salaries has them carrying on like spoilt brats. They have no idea what living in the real world is.

Last time I saw Eddie doing an Adelaide match he was pretty scathing of them in the post match, so I'm pretty much expecting an Adelaide breakthrough win now on Eddie's 2020 form.

He's just saying the same thing that another media commentator would say about a struggling team, but it's not a great look from an opposition club president and has extreme 'come back to bite us on the arse' potential.
