What a touching story; and what a beautiful little boy.

My niece had heart complications when she was born and I drove over to the Womens and Childrens hospital in Melbourne to watch her fight for her life.

The good thing is, after three ops she celebrates her 18th birthday this weekend.

I love the banter between Thommo and Kane on Channel 10 and I have the utmost respect for Kane Cornes.

I pray every thing goes well for Kane, Lucy and Eddy in the future.

Kane is a gun, always been a massive fan. His brother is just a numpty.

Got even more respect for the guy now, and to still perform every week. Star.

All the best to Eddy and the Cornes family, dont forget there are grandparents and aunties and uncles who are also feeling a lot of the fear.

I was in hospital a long long time ago and the doctor came in for a routine check and placed the stethescope against this kids chest and a puzzled look came over his face, he moved the stethescope a little and listened, he pulled it out of his ears and checked the holes, finally a nurse showed him the kids chart where a note had been made his heart was on the opposite side of his chest.

I felt sorry for what happened to Hudson Maher, but when they were trying to raise money for him did disappoint me though.

Not sure of the history of this, all I know is the time spent by Brett and his wife in talking to my ex wife and her daughter who has the same disease as Hudson. So to Brett , kudos to you for taking the time to ease the fears of a worried mother
