good to see the marby juniors playing in the seniors.

Exactly, for all the crap they cop it's good to see Marby have lifted their game in regards to looking after their own.

Rayza is a very dangerous player, hes played a handful of games in the seniors and even kicked a bag of 5 for memory unfortunately for him at the moment our fwd setup is solid however would still fit nicely in it. Good to see it so competitive and pressure from the early game and as someone else said hes very quick on the lead and always dangerous so will always be pushing for selection. Johnny Bassi was also very dangerous on the weekend and he too hs been up and down all year great place to be at the moment Oakers

as i remember he was a star in the last A grade rep game a few years back, you would think he would get a game, always gave us fits to play against, but looking good for Oak Park to make a real charge this year, proberly my tip now to win it

Ray is doing all the right things at the moment and i'm sure that not only will he get another opportunity this season, but will grab it with both hands. It's not just about how many goals he kicks, or marks he takes, but his forward line pressure has been exceptional. This is something that will hopefully benefit the oakers at the business end of the year.

starting to become a real possibility that marby may miss the finals, hard to believe as they still have the best list in the comp but they have had a horrid run with injuries and have greenvale at home next up, get the week off to recoup but with just less then half a team on the injured list they are just a step below at the moment, look to be doing battle with Abers and Greenvale for the last two spots in the four with oak park having played most of the top 5 twice already and Strathmore now a game clear, dangerous times for the lions and its a safe bet that every other team would be glad to see them not play in the business end of the season......
Oakers are travelling well and in my opinion has more depth then any other team in the comp at the moment, may not have the out and out stars, although Pascu, Gleeson, Higgs, J. smith and A. smith are definately in the the top echelon, but from players 10 to 26-28 is where they win games, still some danger games and would be foolish to look past any team going around but they have the easiest run home and on form should get the double chance and may even finish on top with the highest % if they can get over Keilor next week, most exciting season in memory and with marby in trouble the flag is anyones for the taking, cant wait

MARIBYRNONG Park’s brief reign at the top of Essendon District Football League A-grade came to a sudden halt with a 36-point defeat against Strathmore at the weekend.
So close is A-grade this season, the Lions could fall from top spot to fifth with a single defeat should results go against it in the second half of a split round 13.

OAK Park withstood a first-quarter onslaught from Keilor to overturn a 25-point deficit and win by 37 in Essendon District Football League Agrade at the weekend.


The 17.18 (120) to 13.5 (83) result moved the Kangaroos into the top four at reigning premier Maribyrnong Park’s expense, while all but eliminating Keilor from the finals race.
