I don't think EK can get anywhere near APW so the final result is fairly certain. Hadfield is the main factor in this as they control their own destiny(and APWs as well). If they win they're in, if not, it's time for Mad Monday. I think Haddy will get over Westy this week as they just have more to play for. As much as they try not to Westy will be thinking ahead to Pacco the week after and not wanting to risk suspension/injury. For me the first week of the finals will be Tulla v Haddy and Pacco v Westy.

valentine as well.

Anyone got news on Kilty's injury? Hopefully he will be right for next week.

can tell you that we were given some wrong information on today's broadcast and pascoe vale v westmeadows will be at HIGHGATE and tullamarine v hadfield will be at GLENROY

LOL - Lakers = nothing to play for resting many of their guns V Haddy = everything to play for. I think you should beat West Meadows before getting to excited. You were given a 7 goal head start - so yeah hard at it for 1 quarter - soft for the next 3.

good to see they rested them so we should say thanks . what i cant understand is why then at half time there coach go off his tree putting players down saying they werent good enough mind you i was near the umpires room and heard him clearly great game plan lets wait and see how rest players works out in the next few weeks

Whats going to happen this week?
I think both games are going to be cracking games. Obviously Pacco will start favourites against Westy, but I think it will be alot closer than everyone thinks. Pacco should get up but I love watching Westy play so should be entertaining.
And for Haddy and Tulla, its almost even money. Haddy did just enough to sneak into that last spot and have been a real dark horse this year. When there hot there hot but Tulla will play with alot of heart as they always do, especially in a finals game.
Pacco and Tulla by small margins is my tip

I would be tipping Pascoe Vale by 5 goals and hadfield by 9 pts in a very spirited match between two passionate clubs.

You should be very excited - not many would have picked you to play finals. A great effort - can you win your next 4 games? The easy tip is no - but end of the day Haddy now have started something they can build on.

Alot of soul searching to be done at Airport West and Glenroy. Very disappointing seasons.

Can someone please tell me how the Glenroy Reserves got a home final? I'm not complaining as it advantages us, I find it very strange that is all.

pascoe vale by 37 PTS- PV forwards will be to good for westy. midfield battle will be a good one

Tullamarine by 23 pts- big ground will see tullas running players get on top. finals experience will help to.

Tulla way too good on the day, Haddy will take the hurt into next season and turn it into motivation. Good to see all but 2 players have already signed for next year with the other 2 hopefully not far off! Not a bad year all in all for a team who lost a huge chunk of last years team, not to mention 8 players 21 years or under. The future is looking bright! Good luck to Tulla for the rest of the year.

Well said Oldfatandslow,Just too polished for us this time ,we clearly need to be quicker and fitter.All at Haddy should be proud of their efforts and hopefully the 18's can go all the way.
I now hope Pacco win it in the seniors.

Westmeadows has only won 1 of the last 5 games - and that was by a point. Lakers smacked them by 44 points at Westmedows a month ago. I don't think a team that is rested with a week off and has beaten Paco twice would be concerned at all about what they saw on the weekend.

I believe Paco and Lakers are clearly the 2 best team and will play each other again after this week in the Grand Final.

I have to say I was more impressed with PV than TL .When Haddy played PV at Hadfield, there was a fair bit of feeling in the game and when a brawl erupted I thought we would gain the momentum but PV kicked the next 6 and weren't at all ruffled.
Speaking to mates at PV they reckon they're a lot better now.
