saw on the pacco website that sullivan kicked a hundred goals in the 2`s but didnt play a senior game in the year........surely he is good enough for a spot in the senior side

he is a mate of mine and he is good enough (IMO), but competing againest some tough opposition to get into the forward line in the 1's
Heard he might be looking to go elsewhere next year!

played on him this year

pacco are a good side and have a great forward line even still is pretty stiff to miss out.

Next year the league will move to 4 on the bench which will help, however should look at the fixture, APW were clearly the best team and missed out on the finals. Whisper have it Ron Rooney may not be coaching in 2010 at APW? :eek: Who will coach APW in 2010?

How can you say APW are the best team, when in the last 4 weeks of the season Haddy beat them by 7 goals and PV beat them by 8 goals,might be the best team outside the top 5. and that's about it.

They were, does'nt mater about those games, they didnt get it togther however i saw them play some great footy and were clearly the best side i saw, unlucky to miss out b/c of the cheating draw edfl put togther.

Ron is a super coach. :thumbsu:

It's about time we saw 4 on the bench in local footy, good move.

Not sure the fixture has a big say in the overall results? If you're good enough you'll make it!

Where's those whispers coming from Cage, internal or just external rumours as usual???

Just had a quick look on the EDFL website. It looks like Jacana, Moonee Valley and Keilor Park are the only jobs up for grabs in BGrade.

Nothing on APW though?

Only a handful in A Grade as well?

Also read on the other site mighty Mick McGuane has resigned for another 2 years....great result by KFC prior to the weekend.:thumbsu:

Thanks. Couldn't agree more about the wet and the fact that Taylors Lakes will be tucked up in their Hoodies while the boys slog it out in the cold and wet. Taking a pair of heavy legs into a Grand Final adds a dimension of difficulty that you would prefer to do without. For me it's just great that the 3 teams left have all worked hard to gain thier positions and that winning the flag means something and is not just a formality.

Who ever wins it should be congratulated. The B Grade competition is just that... A competition. Fought out with courage, heart and committment.

No easy ride to glory in 2010 for anyone

Pretty much on the mark there MN.
PascoeVale were fantastic yesterday as WM threw everything at them and Pacco just kept attacking the ball.No sign of egos and individuals there yesterday just a committed bunch of blokes determined to get the job done.
The GF should be a cracker as long as PV can freshen up and play with the same desire as seen lately.

Lakers draw was as hard as APW:

Lakers - 16 wins 1 loss - 215.01%
APW - 11 wins 6 losses - 167.53%

Yeah they were the best team in the league.

Paco and Lakers both beat you at home by more than 4 goals. Paco smashed you by 48 points in the return game. If you believe APW was "clearly" the best team then clearly you have no idea.

great night for the Hadfield Football Club picking up Runner Up for Seniors, B&F in the Reserves and B&F in the U/18s. Also ended up with 2 players in the team of the year.
