100% it starts next year. 10 in Div 1, 8 in Div 2, and 6 in Div 3 - with the current teams and the hope of eventually making it a 10 , 10 , 10 comp.
18 round comp and each team players each other once at home and once away (like in A grade now). It is going to happen. I would think most teams want to finish top 8 this year. Keilor Park would have missed the cut last year. If they have improved then a solid team will end up in Div 3.

Which again may change depending on which teams join the EDFL. I would think teams like Sunbury would start in Div 2 and a brand new team like Toolern would start in Div 3. Lots to work through but exciting for the league.

No struggle in Div 2. Would dominate. Div 1 already have 10 teams so the only option is Div 2. They will only be there for 1 year. Would bamboozle the comp like my leg breaks. Haven't you got some recruiting to do - could be massive in 2012 - Lakers V Sunba Div 2!!!

There is a 12 page document - advertising in the Herald Sun about to start looking for expressions of interest for clubs that may want to join the EDFL, clubs that are to be targeted etc. It is going to happen in 2012.

Kings, I'm not saying its not going to happen. I just know that in the past, the EDFL have been very careful about which clubs they bring into the league. Many clubs have been knocked back, as recent as the last few years. I thought that the existing clubs would have a vote on it too. Is there a link to the 12 page document available to view?

No vote the change will be brought in. It is good for Roxy and Jacana - it will help bring people back to watch as they can win games as well as sponorship. They are worried about splitting rivals such as East Keilor and Keilor Park. If they get zero teams apply the league will be 10 in Div 1, 8 in Div 2 and 6 in Div 3.

looks unbelievable, corporate boxes at local level . The EDFL both A & B Grade would have the worst grounds and facilities of any league in victoria. Clubs like Marby seem to be making inroads but we are still a long way behind all country and ammo leagues and most other metros.

Obviously you are no hutchy if you dont know this answer ( change your user name peanut ) too scared to post on the A grade thread....

Billy is a great man and went through the process of abers job but the committee went a different way and appointed John Mcmillan.

Obvioulsly Marcus wanted to coach and looked elsewhere cant blame him for that...
