Pacco got the early jump on Tulla today, keeping them scoreless and scoring 4 goals themselves going with a mild-strong breeze. Tulla then turned the game on the head, slamming through 9 goals in the second quarter with the wind to lead by 3 goals at the half. Pacco again got ontop with the wind, leading by 17 points at 3 1/4 times, and a good disciplined effort in the last helped them to a hard fought 19 point win. Very good game today

Airport West 46.30.306 defeated Jacana 2.1.13 and in the twos won 279 to 0. Looking terrible for Jacana this season

Mate if you know what this club has gone through in the past 3 months, to be where we are now is an achievement in itself. Fair enough our first 2 games haven't been crash hot. But if you look at our list you will see our average age is 19, we're obviously a bit inexperienced but our spirit is strong and experience comes in time. A terrible year you say well i'd like to see any team with a depleated list thanks to all there senior players leaving us high and dry and leaving the near future of this proud club in the hands of a team of 19 to 24 year olds. When us as players have matured as senior footballers Jacana will return to the dominate team it was years ago. We may suffer big defeats on the road to success but we will never give in and our spirit will never die.

Well said and good luck for the future.

was a tough day yesterday but airport west 2nds are a bloody good side, they havnt missed the finals in 8 years.

one thing thats odd down at airport west is the goalsquares are astro turf, lets hope no1 hurts themselvs on it

There is talk around the glenroy football club that Aaron kite could return to the roys I'n the next couple of weeks this would be big news if tru and would make it hard for teams to stop the forward line of Knox / woodhouse / kite

Word on the street is that the automatic senior selections at Pascoe Vale Football Club might be taking their toll with quite a few of the reserves players.:mad::mad:

Not a huge surprise if true.... Would be a very hard team to break into. Hopefully pacco don't upset too many of their homegrowns as when all the mercenaries leave it will be the homegrowns that the club will need if the money runs out..... The risks of buying a flag I suppose

kite is living in adelaide and is still out for quite a few weeks because of injury! very slim chance of that. he kicked closed to 100 last year and they still didnt make finals so i wouldnt read to much into that.

all you can say to pacco reserve players is perform and put pressure on the players that are not performing. the rewards will come for those who persist.

I have heard the same thing earlier this week. Few guys really considering leaving as the club hasn't been the best place to be around at the moment.. Disappointing to the ones that do all the right things all the time. Could be few guys headed to new homes... Hopefully it works out for Pascoe Vale in their quest for the B Grade Premiership and the guys who want to enjoy their footy whether it's at Pascoe Vale or not.

The source I'm hearing it from is pretty reliable and is a close mate of kiteys i believe that he has parted ways with woodville after missing a preseason and loosing interest he still is a while off but the roys expect him to be firing I'n the later part of the year

Hard to imagine that a club that has both 1sts and 2nds up and running with a good shot at a premiership would be a bad place to be around?? I’m not sure which players you are referring to but the issues I always hear about are from players who aren’t really up to it and think that because they’ve been at a club for a certain amount of time they should be a walk up start.

clearance for bassman abdul wahed from haddy to nthn saints....big get

question is will haddy let him go??

SUNDAY Local Football is always fantastic for fans.

Everybody this SUNDAY should get down to HADFIELD FC for an absolute cracking game of B Grade "Sunday" Football.
The Hadfield FC will be putting on a President's luncheon for all interested which will be great with Ex North Melbourne Premiership Champion & Greenvale Senior Coach Anthony Rock as guest speaker.
There will also be plenty of food kiosks, drink bars and public toilets for all fans.
Hadfield FC at home who have been unlucky in close losses in their first 2 games, will be pumped for their 1st win against West Coburg who boast a great list.
It will be extremely tough football and I urge all Edfl & LOCAL football fans to get down to Hadfield FC and support.

Just a reminder that EDFL match of the day is on North West FM 98.9 from 2-5pm tomorrow. Full around-the-ground scores at half time and full time.

You can interact with the commentary team on twitter, @edflfooty - send us scores and updates from your game.
