Still amazing to think the league had Northern and East Keilor heading for C Grade regardless of this years results.

Possibility of heading to A Grade in 2012 for Northern Saints and East Keilor

Pacco decimated with injury the last 3-4 weeks. should get 9-10 of the starting 22 players back shortly after the break and be full steam ahead from there.

just on the northern saints full credit to them doing well. as we all know the 2nd half of the season will be there big test. would be good to see them making the finals for the first time in the clubs history ???? all the best

In terms of the club as a merged entity, it would be their first finals series, but it is only their 4th season.

Dunno about you, but they were horrible when I watched them play Tulla. I'd have the same top 5, except swap Westy with East Keilor, and maybe move West Coburg above APW. Tulla and WC are very even IMO

East Keilor and North Coburg have easy draws. The next couple of weeks will test North. East have a few big games too.
Very even comp with all of the top line sides, Tulla are a good hard looking side. Pascoe Vale have a few injuries at the moment along with West Coburg and probably Tulla.
Come finals time it will be a different story, Pascoe Vale were suppose to be the bench mark but West have taken it right up to them and beat them in an early encounter. West have had some poor performances against Hadfield and Westmeadows which could come and bite them on the bum come the years end. They have lost all there games by under 7 points from reading results.
It will be interesting to see come finals time if Bicer will play for Pascoe Vale?! Can anyone confirm?
I'm banking on West Coburg, Grainger is a super foward with a truck load of talent, 15.5 in a quarter and 15minutes of footy. Great effort and in my opinion a class above the rest. Young list of players who love the open space.

I am a senior player at Jacana and like most of our senior players I am in my first year of senior footy our average age is between 19-23.
Its up our group of young players who are fresh out of playing Under 18's to build a future and new rep for this great club. We are clearly having a hard time on game day due to the lack of experience and immature bodies, but they come in time, as we get older our bodies will get bigger and stronger and the experience will defiantly come.
Despite the losses we are suffering no matter how big they may be we are still getting great numbers to training and attitude and moral around the club is positive and upbeat because we know that if we stay focused and work
hard the wins will come. All our senior player are at every training session and club function because we are committed to:




A) supporting our club and bringing a new era of positive attitude, mate-ship and good times.
B) Setting an example to the Juniors that we are no longer a bunch of thugs and that we are here to play hard but fair footy.
I agree it is going to be tough holding onto our young guns in the close future because any club that has money will always them to lure them away with money. But if our current senior list succeed in building a new culture that's fun and positive and start having some on field success we are hoping that this can convince them to stay at our club for better reasons than chasing a few extra bucks.
We don't have any hired guns, we haven't brought players like most of the
current top teams have we are all local and are there to play footy for the enjoyment and when we start winning everyone will know that its because the players and committee who have put they're heart's and soul's into the club.
In the end we are still a group of mates that will show up rain hail or shine to
play a game of footy 'in the purple and gold. Win or loose come what may they'll see us every Saturday'.
So before you go making claims that we don't have a 'decent' senior team how about you go look at the current top clubs and tell me how many players on they're list aren't playing for money and how many have been with the club
longer than 5 years take them away and what are they left with??

Great see the clubs on the right track and blokes sticking around.
It's hard work and un paid work for the people that put in there time and
effort.
I will say one thing tho, it's credit to all the players at Jacana that come out week after week and field a side knowing they are going to cop a flogging.
On the other hand the female from Jacana that stands on the side lines yelling abusive language to players has to stop. Yes we are all passionate and loyal supporters of our clubs, but really do people have tolerate and put up with a dirt foul mouth language that comes out of a females mouth?
I'm picking she is a mother, so l would like to say to her, would you like it done to your children? I think not.
Tip, players or supporters that don't go in to the opposition club rooms after
game day for one beverage is poor form, atleast have a couple of representatives after a game day, general respect is required in my opinion.

Interesting to read J.Barnes has signed and been cleared to Pascoe Vale.
How old is he? I hope the club isn't paying him big coin for him?
It will be interesting to see what the loyal supporters and younger blokes will be thinking. There has been rumours that there are some un happy people down that way.

As for getting paid I would doubt very much he would take any money and I think his signing is just a bit of insurance should we lose another tall.Having said all that,it is highly unlikely he will play.The depth is being stretched at the moment so might be time to look at some of the u/18's.

Interesting to see an ex player from Pascoe Vale T.Waterson playing for West Coburg senior side and playing some good footy by the results.
Couldn't get a game in the 1's last year and got dropped for the 2's grand final? Any truth to that?
Seems to me they already have plenty of talent down there way and just maybe there development of players is failing.
I'm a huge believer you go out and pick up only what you need to to top up your list. Replace players that have left and work on what you currently have on your list. Anything else is a waste. Some teams have more money than cents?!

Saints blew a five goal lead last time at overland reserve and made to show up to a Sunday training session and will be hoping for redemption this Saturday
