Turdo I really don't understand you, if Rayner played at Pacco you would be all over him. He came to Douttas to hopefully play in a premiership which he did twice. He won a best in comp and two best on grounds in the grand finals. Douttas should get the credit they deserve.

Hey Simple, you don’t get it do you. I understand both clubs should be mentioned as per the edfl web site article but if there is only room for adding or mentioning 1 club then Hillside is his junior club and should be given the credit for this..

Maybe in 2019 when both clubs are in div1 Hillside v Douttas could play for the Cam Rayner cup..

All the private school kids have their most recent school listed as their club with absolutely no mention of their junior club where it all started.

Could Westy be looking to rebuild through there juniors and make some coin this season in the hope to have a crack in 2019 or 2020? Maybe why some of there better contracted players are departing and the news of getting Swan on board. Also didn’t they appoint an inexperienced coach who has only coached juniors in the past? Not a bad plan I reckon.. Thinking Swan might bring some old team mates back but unfortunately most are past their best..

Dane , Kade and Aaron will definitely play at least 1 game together this year at Westy. Didak & Tarrant yet to be confirmed but 90% will play in that game also. You heard it hear 1st!

Hence my comment that maybe Westy might go for youth this season and inform the playing group of their intentions. However all these players in the one side would only work if there was a side struggling down the ladder and Westy would basically win anyway. That being said I see the comp as being to competitive to being playing players past there best and who haven’t played for 2 seasons. Even the promoted side Jacana look like they have recruited well enough to stay up.. Pretty sure a player like Kade is limited with injuries and why would he risk possible injury just to play 1 game..Ummm interesting situation..but creating interest. How good would it be to see Swan playing for Westy..
