League approves the points and ticks them off before the season commences clearly they don’t know their own point system to well.

Honestly I really don’t understand what’s so hard to get with what I’m saying clearly there is a miscommunication this is how it works.


Reserve players from any premier comp coming to div 1 are 3 points (base of 2 points + 1 extra for coming from prem to div 1)

Senior players from any premier comp coming to div 1 are 4 points (base of 3 points + 1 extra for coming from prem to div 1)

But reserves aren’t classified as a premier comp. yes the seniors are but not the reserves.
Hence why players that play 2nds are only 2 points.

If that was the case then all your accusations of EK are bullshit. People complained because all reserve players they took from deer park who didn’t play seniors were only 2 points.

It says if your from a Premier CLUB, it does not say anything about whether you play seniors or reserves.

Therefore 3 points.

If you happen to be correct then EK were shafted.

It’s ridiculous that a ressies player is 3 pts but everyone complained and Ek had the points increased and people called them cheaters what a joke

Jye played at werribee when he was 16 and not seniors the rest played 2 -3 senior games total over 2-3 years.

I've heard that 95% are committed and or signed. Coaches only bleed clubs if administrators allow it. Not sure that will be the case...Hillside admins are very strong, rebuilt club to post two very tidy profits and 30+ sponsors and a few to sign in coming weeks so i am led to believe.
No shortage of recruits either.

Seriously how on earth do EK think all if this big name recruiting is a good idea. There is not a chance in hell they will be able to fit there best 22 under the points cap next year, not even close which was pretty much the case this year also. How are players that know they should be playing seniors going to deal with being rotated through the two’s? What happens come finals time. It’s bizarre to say the least. As for the salary cap well that’s another story. I personally no some ok players at best that were offered silly amounts of money to go to EK in the last 12 months, the money being thrown around is ridiculous. They may well win the division 1 flag next year but i have no doubt this will end in tears for EK within a few years and the people that love the club will be there to pick up the pieces while the mercenaries will venture off to the next club including big Pat. Enjoy the short term success
