Long time viewer/ admirer, 1st time poster...
Just wanted to get everyone’s opinions on who would be the top 3-4 recruits/ biggest loses for each side on paper.
I understand quite a few sides have been very active in recruiting over the break, but other sides not so much and am keen to get a grasp on what each club holds up their sleeve heading into practice matches.
Huge season ahead and a few clubs with ambitions to go to a higher grade...

He was never getting a game at Tulla not wanted at Tulla and a culture killer will suit a team who are full of ego's & individuals. He will fit in beautifully at WM with the West Coburg crew also there. They are all money men and dont give a shit about club culture... WM will be far more competitive this year but how will these short term decisions effect them in 1-2 years?

Hey Outback, I did some digging today and have heard Tulla have told Kennedy there is no spot for him this year and have / will release him back to Oak Park as part of deal to get other Oak Park guys cleared. Tulla don’t think he is a good fit for them and is not getting along with some of the players. Gun player wonder how that plays out for Tulla.
Other player in question is Franchina. Has also been told he may be in the reserves this year with the inclusion of Libbertore, Hare, Marcy, Bylthe etc and has since trained at Westmeadows.
Am I on the money spy and 3forks ?

Not sure on Franchina Footyman.... but give me Libba any day over him simply based on age... Tulla will be okay but with Anderson and Cronin also going there i again question the recruiting of older players. Add D. Scott, Bonicci etc.. In the event they win it they will need to find a heap of players to compete in Prem adding the points and salary cap that makes it tough on any promoted team... i still fancy CB at this stage plenty of toe on the outside good coach recruited well with Young & Trembearth and a nice big power forward who hits the score board plenty to like up the Hume Hwy

Cronin only 26 so by no means over the hill, and a 1 pointer at Tulla. With a couple of guys retiring Bonnici at 30 and D Scott at 31 and only a 1 pointer will be valuable. 95% of list is under 25 with plenty of leg speed and adding Blythe and Libba will add to this. There is absolutely forward thinking happening at the club with the list in the event we were lucky enough to win it.

Is Trembearth confirmed, Hack? Excellent young player, but I thought they had plenty of talent already. Big blow for Glenroy losing Blyth and Trembearth.

Thats good Bomber some quality there with Prestia and Libba and the like. Bonicci and Scott arent Prem players IMO but hopefully if you win it you can go up and stay up. I think Glenroy did a wonderful job recruiting to win a flag and then hold there place. Talking to a few Glenroy people it was bloody hard work as you would expect. Go well

Not sure Mel i heard Josh was moving there pre xmas but havent heard any different since... cant say i have looked at the transfers either. Quality player will add plenty to CB and yes agree big loss for Glenroy if true. Hope the Wallan boys go well for you in 2019

I'd heard it was going to be a multi with Blyth going there too which obviously didn't happen. It will be interesting to see how the issue with Blythe goes given he's contracted to Glenroy.
Cheers mate. Davies is a loss, but we've added a heap more fire power up front. Still have a good midfield and some really good kids coming through too. Can't wait for Sunday week.

Contemplating a new offer from Glenroy is the mail.. More $$ on the table I believe..
Personally think he should stay and play a higher level of footy at his his age or is he a player who prefers to play a level below and do it a bit easier. Craigieburn favourite to win div1 so why leave other than winning more games and bigger coin..

Would be good to see him stay and I really doubt the Eagles need another mid/small forward.

I agree really good player and is great if he continues to learn the craft at the highest level CB certainly have plenty of depth through the midfield as Mel has stated. Can anyone provide any feedback on any other recruits for clubs such as RP, OP, TL and HS? I think we have done CB, TM and EK to death

What are all the practice matches coming up for clubs? Most clubs should be starting this week. It's been quite from most clubs and will be really interesting to see how strong West Coburg will be.
There was such a large gap of the tops sides from the bottom sides last year, and can't see that changing much this season either.
