Why not. Wouldn’t he rather coach at div1 level if the opportunity presents itself. I agree his most likely happy at MV and still has unfinished business but IF he was offered the position he would surely take it..

Why, Div 1 or Div 2 not much difference, especially if he feels there is unfinished business and if he feels comfortable at the club. He would have the respect of the players and committee.

Not much difference, get serious, lets give Craigeburn 10 minutes with Keilor Park ,
This would be an all time , never to be beaten ,irrational, illogical and most of all gut splitting , rib tickling comment

It doesn’t matter in which division or league someone’s coaching, even if at junior level. It’s always a privilege to coach.

From what I hear he’s extremely happy where he is and with the players he’s coaching, even moreso at a club that is as stable as it is with a strong support base.

Maybe we should be focusing on why Airport West has churned through four coaches in five years. If we answered that honestly it would probably have negated any whisper about the MV coach going to Airport West from the start.

Another poster who has no idea of the passion and desire for the junior program that EK has had for many years. Always making finals and winning junior flags has been going on for years. The kids stay around and play senior footy as many did this year.

Don't forget, Hillside spent up big as well with Setanta and Ryan Hargrave years ago but you forget about that when it is convenient.

Finally, if the money was at any other club besides EK they would be doing exactly the same thing and don't look me in the eye and say they wouldn't.

Is that the same junior program that was based on pouching hillside and surrounding junior players to play lower div footy to win flags with a flog?

Most kids leave clubs as there neglected and unhappy or looking for more opportunities.

How many juniors did Hillside lose to EK that Hillside would want back?

Who’s the flog?
 
Jesse Davies wins Craigieburn B&F from Morrison, Chircop, Fynch in a close count.
Great effort in a premiership year. 4 locks for the team of the year you would hope.

No issues with the former Ressies coach. Work commitments mean he could not commit to the role and he has a young bloke playing Saturdays who he wanted to go watch play.

Kaine has been able to pick the brains of the best coaches in the league the last 2 years so it's an exciting appointment

Word is he’s started his preseason training by evading swooping magpies while screaming ‘IM TOO GOOD FOR B GRADE!’
