Nope. A few sides who would compete in EDFL div 1 but still a few that would be better suited to EDFL div 3. A far better standard than it was even 2-3 years ago though

Where do you think this years Div 2 premier (Rupo) would have finished in the RDFNL?

From season 25, only Centrals and Lancefield would be edfl div2 rest well capable of competing in div1 with some at full strength probably very competitive against premier 2nd last in Greenvale.

I watched quite a few RDFNL games this year and i often thought it’s definitely on the way but not there yet. I think Rupo would be close to making finals. They aren’t a bad side and Div 2 isn’t a bad division. From the top to bottom of RDFL is a huge gap and some of those mid range to bottom teams are comparable to Div 2. Both comps are on the rise and that’s all I care about 👌🏼

No more points allowance for them this year. Will be interesting how these recruits fit in! May be a bit of juggle week to week, with some missing out!
 
Turbo, cut it out. RDFL is a bang average league and the bottom 3-4 would struggle to make finals in Division 2.

The top 3 sides in RDFL would be fringe finals in D1, wouldn’t go close to a flag and would get pantsed by an Oak Park or Hillside of 2025

To then say would be competitive is Greenvale is an extraordinary comment…. Would be 10 goals+ and that’s on a Wet day.
 
Putting crap on the RDFNL suggests you don't watch it. Has turned a corner and is heaps better than years gone by. Looking through some of the players already picked up by clubs the comp has clearly become an attractive option and most importantly is very well run.

I watched Rupo once and I liked what I saw, but they would probably only beat Lancefield and Melton C which has already been mentioned, but I would throw in Woodend as a maybe. Haven't seen Greenvale play, but don't see any RDFNL side who would beat them in a game for 4 points, EK OTOH.

No way Rupo of 2025 is playing finals in RDFL 2025. They aren’t getting near Kyneton 6th and definitely nowhere near Macedon who finished 5th. Romsey who ended 7th would also beat Rupo.

It's the off season. Threads usually go through a change up during that period. Will be rolling over threads to 2026 talk soon enough.

Khoder Taleb for the second season running was announced as “committed” at Northern Saints but has signed at a rival club. Last year Haddy now West Coburg. Wonder if he will chicken out again or Northern will pull on his heart strings and stay. One to watch! 👀
