Haddy getting up over westy by a few goals. Game could of gone either way with alot of indiscipline actions from both teams but was a cracker!

Didn't see that Haddy result coming. Could well be vital when the comp splits.

Watched Northern beat Hillside. Saints probably should have won by a 100, but kicked 26 behinds. Hillside not a bad young team.

Saw something I've never seen before too. Umpire payed a very long free kick which resulted in a shot at goal from directly in front and then as the defender on the goal line mouthed off (I'm assuming that's the only reason there were two more shots on goal) Northern got a further 2 goals from out in front.

It's probably something worth asking the umpire fraternity about as I had no idea you could do this.

Although looking at some of the results you'd think clubs who fail to field teams in all grades should be the ones forced down first.

3.2 A football club, other than one to which Rule 3.3 applies, that applies
for membership of the League shall have its application approved by
the Board of Management and thereby becomes a Member of the
League, subject to:
(a) due and punctual payment of affiliation fees having been made
under these Rules or the club having entered into and complied
with a financial arrangement as approved by the Board of
Management; and
(b) satisfying the Board of Management of its ability at all times to
field at least one junior team in each age group competition and
at least two teams in one open age football competition (one
senior team and one reserves team) conducted by the League​

and will be known as an Affiliated Club.

These rules clearly state that if the clubs dont have all teams they are not an affiliated club
The EDFL already have one club in C grade.

-2012 Team that finished 10th in Prem Div (Old A Grade) will drop to Div 1 (Old B Grade) at the end of 2012 as per normal conditions

-2012 The team that wins GF from the Div-1 8 teams (Old B Grade) WILL GO TO Prem Div (Old A Grade) No relagation of team 8 in 2012

-The team that wins GF Div-2 6 teams WILL REMAIN in Div-2 (C Grade) for season 2013

So will it be true to say that regardless of where Tullamarine Seniors finish this year, they will be relegated because they have no Under 18's this year?

Hard to imagine, with Tulla Seniors being such a solid B grade team recently

To me it looks like it says so long as you have senior and reserves you'll be ok, but not if you have only 2 or 3 junior teams.

Exhibition match East Keilor U/14 and 16’s V an Indigenous team from Maningrida NT. Thursday 26 April 5PM 4 x 15 minute quarters.

The lads have a travelling party of 22 players and have been staying at the club. They come from Maningrida which is 550 KM east of Darwin in west Arnhem land and most have never travelled out of the region prior to this trip.

They have been sightseeing in Melbourne been to a couple of AFL games and will be going to Anzac day to Collingwood V Essendon and later the Melbourne Storm game.

Try and get down to East Keilor on Thursday to see these lads in action with their exquisite bare foot skills.

Roxy did quite well, with a young side! personal thoughts were 40 goal + win! but roxy fought well... defenders did really well!! if only the midfield of roxy were of better standard! they would be alot more competitive! individuals did their jobs outstandinglu!
