Craig Lambert the new Senior Coach at Craigeburn
Lambert a great appointment for the club.. Craigieburn lost a couple but seems as tho they will bring in more than they lose, have had some handy signings already an still talking to others an looking to recruit hard, If brooks and baker stay around which is apparently a big chance will be very very competitive an tough to beat

Craigieburn will come straight back up to Premier Division in 2014. Of Div 1 clubs in 2013, Glenroy and Taylors Lakes are still scarred from the experience and I would say they will not really have a huge desire to get back up to Premier Division yet. West Coburg haven't got the money, leadership, players or sponsors to succeed. Tulla are in survival mode. Craigieburn have a base to be a Premier club with supporter base and location. All they need is some good off field management.

Huge call. Bigger, stronger clubs have struggled to rebound straight back up. Brooks has a huge offer in front of him from WRFL and is training elsewhere, can't see him staying and playing B Grade. Baker has signed at Marby too? It won't be a walk in the park.

It is a method of elimination in saying Craigieburn is the side to go to Premier League. Who will be the main challengers from Division 1?

That's operating under the assumption that Craigieburn will keep the current group together (doubtful) even then from what I saw of them this season they'd be behind West Coburg, Taylors Lakes and Northern Saints imo.

Fair method of elimination there mate. Eliminate all bar Craigeburn?

Brooks isnt training anywhere else i no for fact and baker is contracted at craigieburn for 2013

Contract won't be hard to get out of, especially when you're talking about an ex-afl player wanting to play A Grade. Brooks will decide between Hoppers (big $) and Paco, where he IS doing a pre-season.

Doesn't matter if he has played AFL or that he wants to play A Grade. The contract is recognised by AFL Victoria and is binding. Only way out is Appeal and the grounds that its Div 1 or Premier won't cut it. It will then be up to Hoppers or Paco to strike a deal with Craigieburn to release him

Not sure about that. Heard they've lost a quite few automatic senior players All the lebos seem to be on their way out. Have heard some going to west coburg some going to hadfield and Tamar Abdullah to play in the vfl again

They'll also have two players who'll probably be best in the division coming in to replace them, as well as a couple of handy players being linked to them atm.

2 players won't replace the 6-10 they could lose. They will need to recruit a few to cover what they're losing,

The blokes I know at the club are quite happy these guys are leaving
