He played 8 more games for the Calder cannons than any junior from craigieburn since nick fletcher. So yes I do believe he is there best.
Got more strings to his bow than laffen
Perrone and wilko arnt bad players but they don't have the ability over head that Shaun does. Shaun has good kicking skills. is a junior rep player at full back. Is a best on ground grand final player on the wing. So I certainly think he is better than the rest of the cburn 2015 u18s. And glad he has left

Obviously your a fan and good on you and i wasnt slighting the kids ability but wilko is still an under 18 ,perrone who like Shaun is a mid fielder can and has held his own in the seniors Langborne who still hasnt decided where hes going to play is also good overhead and can also play up front, defence, and midfield Georgievski who played all senior games this year must i go on, i wish all good things for Shaun Stewart next year the kids good and if you took offense to my comments ok but i stand by them yes he can play but was he the best burners had no hes not

Wilkinson makes far too many basic errors but has mongrel which will sit well at that club. Gorgievski could have 10 goals kicked on him and he'd still get picked.
I wonder where Laffan fits in next year? The Eagles have loaded their side with forward power to the point where I don't see a spot for him.
Anyway, have a happy new year everyone.

Hope so Aussie. The more sides that can challenge Craigieburn the better for the competition. Let's see what the coach brings in, as recruiting a few NFL div3 players will only get him so far. Interesting to see if he can recruit a few players that are capable of playing premier if you did happen to win it.
Winter is a great get. Maybe hasn't played afl like the Cloke boys but will be just as damaging if not better. I know that's a big call but he was still playing some good footy last year. Played well against PV early in the season but didn't kick straight. If you have a ruckman and allow him to roam up forward will be huge.

I dont think the new coach is relying on the blokes they got from NFL Div 3. From what ive been told 2 of them will probably play seconds. Matt Walker from Roxy, Coomans & Fisher from Cobram will be the ones to look out for. Your right, if they can keep Winter down forward all season i think they will be very competitive. Good luck to all teams for 2016. Will be a very even comp IMO.

I'm not part of the team anymore. All the Craigieburn people know who I am, as do a few people from other clubs and who my kid is, and they know full well I'd never enter the who is better than who game.
On reflection I don't think heyyeah meant any ill will by the comments.

AuckMel you know who I am and my role at Craigieburn,as I have said to you privately I disagree with his choice but it is his choice and I wish him well in where ever the football road takes him

Sullivan is assistant and won't play. Flavel and Bailey both might be slow but are smart players. Good depth at worst

Hey Aussie my friend, I hope your not right on this one as Flavel would be on good coin so an expensive bench player if it goes this way. Maybe a coach looking after his mate!!! I'm sure he will start on the ground old mate. Maybe at FF or out of the pocket.
aussie bit of mail going around that roys signed few more before xmas, heard couple greenvale young fringe players and kid from tassie who played in the under 19s in the state league whisper was he was heading to marby, but roys got him a job any truth or just pub rumours?
