Went as a neutral supporter today with a few mates playing.... The umpires were terrible... Were they told to not let it be a blow out??

DOES NOT SOUND LIKE A NEUTRAL SUPPORTER TO ME WHEN MATES ARE PLAYING. Maybe not as good as you thought they were. Only next year will tell as a neutral supporter we will see if they have the depth that they have bragged about all year or just fantasy.

The Toorak clubs from Premier have had the biggest budgets to win flags but thats OK ???? .
Good luck to Craigieburn they deserve it .
 
I thought Tulla were fantastic and really gave it a crack, but as expected Craigieburn just had too much class around the ground.

Bongetti was good, but you could just have easily given BOG to Page and J Cloke who were great around the ground.

I saw one big fish at the game and talk he would be coaching the Eagles next year.
 
I agree with Auckmel Tulla really fought hard all day and as I expected they made a much better account for themselves than two weeks prior.

I personally would have given BOG to Jason Cloke, although Bongetti was super also. I thought Page worked into the game late but I have seen him have much better games and I thought the Scott boys did a great job all day against him.

What hurt Tulla was the lack of forward options in the end as they really didn't look dangerous unless the ball was spilled to the ground within their forward 50.

I guess outside of the Cloke's there haven't really been many good key forwards in their prime play div2 footy as most play in the top division as key forwards are like gold. I guess Winter & Carey are 2 that come to mine but both at the end of their careers. So that's always an issue in the lower grades.

Hey Mel, who was the big fish, as I kept getting hammered on this forum for giving the early mail on the coaching position at CB. All the so called CB people on here reckon Bugie has got the job again so let's see who knows more shall we.

Most people I spoke with thought Bugden was off to Bundoora and Whitnall to the Eagles, but who knows for sure? Talk is cheap.

If that's the case they will be relegated after 1 season. Whitnall has coached them before hasn't he? And J Cloke is inexperienced in the coaching caper. Both are great footy people and without disrespecting them Craigieburn need to find someone outside. Going back to their own is an easy call but it spells disaster!! Craigieburn need to be courageous and look for the best option available, not take the easy way..

Is Cloke just coaching? Surely he isn't going to capt/coach??

He played there, but I'm not sure he ever coached. Pretty sure his first club was Glenroy then his current stint at the Cannons.
 
Coaching tac cup and captain of an afl club do they have to sign malthouse to be a chance? If true about him coaching would have thought with his contacts and craigieburns bank balance they could go ok

Not sure his coaching TAC cup boys but more an assistant role. Did a reasonable job at Glenroy and does speak well. It will be interesting to see what players he can still pull I guess. Could he get the Fev over? Haha
Anyway let's see how this pans out and if in fact it's true.

Yes Willo you will get the credit for bringing it first but hey I think I did announce first that Budgie wasn't coaching CB in 2017 and everyone, including you, criticised me. I guess we will see..
 
Bugden to south morangs not a morel new board seems to want to honor existing coaches contract which runs into next season
