My spy down at Glenroy informs me that Keegan Shrimpton trained with them Monday night and is staying there this season! Also told me that they have picked up 3 guys from the country leagues that go ok as well! Add these to the other guys they have picked up in Golding, Abbaz, Brown, Vetter, Togni and a few others, they might be very competitive!

Safe to say everyone else playing for second place now if all the clearances go through.. One of the better teams to get relegated in recent years, were very competitive and have added some handy players over the break
Clubs may as well put away there cheque books and save it for next year
He also submitted a clearance to broadford in the RDFLHe tried to go to Hoppers last year and got knocked back.
Dont need a new spy Rover! Apparently Shrimpton was at Glenroy training again!Get a new spy mate
Keegan apparently trained at Glenroy again tonight. EDFL website says his clearance has been denied as well. Contract isnt worth a cracker until they clear him! That seems a bit odd considering he but in for a clearance to Airport West. Would it have mean he signed a contract with them
They probably wouldnt want them to, the majority of there signings are former A grade players well passed there best who would struggle to be best 22 players at any of the top 6 sides. If eds win the div 1 flag...Will their plethora of recruits stick around once they're in premier div?
The only ones who I believe a good enough to get us in to the top 6 in premier division are the young kids that played so competitively in the second half of last season. Nabbout, Thompson, calvaresi, aitken, day, Meyers, Ntalianis, Hobbs, Laguda, k. Brown, j. Brown.
Along with recruits
Clothier, shylo, Cronin, buttagieg, Anderson, Kyte, Prestia,Klix
. So if successful they should try keep those players and recruit other where they see fit.
I was having a chat to the father of a former EDS superstar who said Kade told him he would be lucky to last 5 minutes on the ground because of his injuriesReading some of these posts on EDS and although I agree with most opinions, people like Kade Carey don't lose talent with age. His a very competitive person and would still get a game with any premier club "if fit enough". Could you imagine him in a top side with good midfielders delivering the ball to him on a lead. Good classy full forwards are not easy to find..
The question is his fitness and reason behind a return to footy, as my spies informed me his injury at hoppers was pretty bad..
Good season coming up!!!

Also just going through clearances and coombes has put in clearance to go to yarra valley league, so looks like another has walked also.
Hence the question/statement if they all get cleared and some by the sounds of it are going to be tuff or won't even happen!Plenty written about EDS recruiting and it will be interesting to see how they line-up in Round 1 - could be very good side or just a very young, promising side. It would seem that CB and WM, the 2 other teams mentioned in the top 3 aren't or won't have issues in having players cleared to their club.
