Pacco turned over there whole list after a "FULL REVIEW OF PLAYER PAYMENTS"
What a crock! It is fact 20 odd players WALKED OUT of that club because of the way the club was being run and how the players there who had been there for years were being pushed aside by the new recruits who were coming in and out of that revolving door. then refused to pay the players after the last game of 2013 after crying poor. That is fact. Only 2 players from the premiership team in 2011 left at that club.

They didn't walk out as the player list was reviewed. Some players chose to leave for reasons I won't mention, as it's fair and private. All clubs need to recruit players every year and good players don't get pushed out the door, they should stay and take on the challenge to make the team/club stronger. If your attitude is we don't want competion for our spots then show them the door..
This is what makes strong clubs so you either move with the program or bend over and take it and be a mediocre team and let them under preform and still pay them top dollar..
I'm not sure of the suggestion to play the last game of 2013 for no payments but it's been done at a few clubs for the reason of seeing who is playing for the jumper or just money.. Pls don't question payments as Pacco have always paid players and uphold contracts. "That's fact"
Yes only a few players remain from the 2011 side but let's be real, it was B grade and some players have retired or moved on to other B grade sides or different leagues. Can you name any of the players that left and currently playing for an A grade club in any league. I haven't researched but probably none..

In closing its a fair reply from you, and I have given you a fair honest response.. I suppose we all move on, as have Pacco who have created a club on the rise and going places, but agree it's been tough and some unpopular decisions have been made to put Pacco in a strong position going forward.

Ok I'm leaving the div1 thread and probably won't be back as can't see Pacco being in div1 anytime soon. All the best to you all.

Both clubs got what they wanted
Div 1 is the closest , fairest comp in the EDFL
Both clubs will be chasing the win against each other
Or is it just peanuts like you want to stir the pot and try and make something of nothing
Maybe do us all a favour and get involved with a club at committee level to see how much goes into the running and help , rather than making ******* comments

And the current events of glenroy boys moving across to douttas with some very unhappy blokes with there former club and some current glenroy players unhappy with those guys that have left. I believe it was was just an agreement between the two clubs. If what I was told is true apparently one of the two boys will be playing, unsure which one though.

So they should play, glenroy have recieved there compensation, they are doutta players now so they should be playing.
EDS to be too strong for roys, 45 points. 60+ if kite does play
Big game at highgate i think a tight contest but craigieburn to run out by 26 points over oak park.
Really tight game tulla/westy could really go either way tulla been very impressive, will stick with westy by 17.

Watched the Westy v Tulla game today. It doesn't seem to matter what side Tullamarine puts on the park they seem to beat Westmeadows every time. Has been happening since the turn of the century. Can maybe account for two losses since 2003?
Westy were very one paced and lacked on field leadership when the tide started to turn. Full credit to Tulla - many people have written them off but they seem to relish the underdog tag.
Who would have thought they would be 3-1 considering the change in personnel over the off season. Got some great young kids to compliment their experienced leaders.

The second half was sensational glad both teams played footy after half time but leading up to it terrible. I only predicted what happened. You've got no idea clearly. And the result went the only way it ever was going to go. Douttas by plenty. Imagine if kite played might have kicked a big bag

Great performance by the Eagles today. Smashed Oak Park with a wind advantage in the 1st 1/4 then backed that up with 5 into the wind in the 2nd and she was pretty much all over. Nick Fletcher was terrific, Courouzou and Heenan too. Josh Young was BOG, but really could've gone to a host of blokes who played well.

I would have to agree I dismissed Tulla butt they have still got that core group of players who have been together since juniors and have been contenders year upon year it's a credit to them we looked like world beaters In The first then copt a lesson after that

Caught crazy v oak park last 3/4 s today and was impressed by crazys all round performance.Many are quick to criticize Crazy and say they are a 2 man band (clokes)but this is not the case.they are young fit and disciplined and done well today as oak park tried to suck them in today but failed at that.Always fun to watch a side getting flogged but wasting energy trying to fight and mouthing off at opposition supporters even?Beyond that why was game played at highgate as it lacks atmosphere ,is very windy and simply not as good to watch a game as it is at ds aitken?

They have 3 or 4 long term players that play for free, and even sponsor the club. Half there side is former juniors that would be on no more than a couple of hundred a game. Anyway who cares.

Looks to be a split now. Craigieburn & EDS will be top 2 with Oak Park, Tulla , Westy and TL fighting it out for the other 2 spots. Relegation battle between EK, Hillside and Glenroy

Credit to EDS they won the game in the 3rd qtr kicking 10 goals with the wind .
EDS have the best player in the comp in S, Smith , this guy needs more recognition then what he's getting , start engraving the medal now cause this bloke can seriously play and is far to good for div 1
