One of the worst umpiring displays for a final ever seen for BOTH sides , 3 different interpretations , over umpired big time , yes there were spot fires all day but the whistle never stopped , almost ruined a great exhibition of b grade finals footy . Doutta's too good and deserved the win .

You get free entertainment all year and you are complaining about watching a final between 2 very good sides costing the same as large pizza.

She is generally pretty good but along with her 2 mates, they seemed out if their depth today. wonder if there was a directive given at 1/4 to pay everything. I'd estimate 75 free kicks paid for the day? And so many paid by the non officiating umpire. In their defense your honour, paying free kicks avoided what at times could have been a game that got out of control. Plenty of niggle.
Didn't seem to be any injuries to either side from what I saw. Was there a report for hit on no. 1 in 3rd qtr? Eds run the ball and spread well.

Interesting to see what the video caught at the game today. Numbers 2, 32 and 47 all hit players off the ball. 2's hit on 70 in the 1st quarter was a cheap shot. Same as 32 on 24 in the second. Also what kind of coach picks a player 47 for there first game of the year and tell him to just go around and whack blokes. Disgrace for a coach to do that.
So young won't be playing again this year. Late hit and high contact. Smith had to leave ground. Must get at least 2.
