You would be disappointed if this happened. Big Cam doesn't go around tring to smash blokes when he clearly could, actually the opposite. Think at age 32 he just wants to enjoy a kick without to much pressure.

Regardless if he does or doesn't go around smashing blokes, clubs will be frustrated and annoyed that a club like jacana have caught a big fish like Cameron, and will try everything in their power to try and stop him.. Stop cam jacana lose..

Good on Jacana, it will be great for them.
Young and Cloke can do what they want, they will live and die by their decisions. Fact is neither of them have any respect and havnt since they moved to play B Grade footy a few years back. Just proves the quality of character both have being too scared to play in Premier division where both are more than capable but have the hearts the size of a pea, preferring to earn a few $$$'s playing against players who have limited skill and size...
Now moving to C Grade pfft... Weak as p@ss

And if you didn't already know Cloke played at Bundoora for 4 years in div 1 NFL
Did you even go to a cburn game this year to see just how "pea hearted" these blokes are??? They played their guts out the past 2 years Young came 7th in the bnf this year and missed 8 games also got 2nd bnf last year.... Cloke won't the bnf this year won the goal kicking the past 2 years on the league so stupid comment saying hearts the size of peas
And it's actually not about the money at all I know for a fact both players wanted to play with mates and that Young if he signs wants to try and win a flag with his close family.... Nothing wrong with that is there??? Pretty sure anybody with a heart would want to win a premiership with their family if the chance popped up!!!

no-one in Premier would pay him anywhere near $1200 because they know he wouldn't last 5mins with the Big Boys.
Hey good on him, he doesn't want to play against the best and take the easy way out like he's done the last 2 years playing B Grade, that's up to him. I reckon he'd be smart enough to know he won't get and deserves zero respect in the footy community.
I heard he is a good bloke off the field and have no doubt that's the case so got nothing against him personally.
Great get for Jacana though, obviously decided time to have a crack and they get a good following when the teams going well.

I reckon there two pretty good resumes, the fact is not everyone can commit or wants to play the highest grade, can I ask how many players in premier should be playing vfl? Are you saying they don't want to mix it with the big boys too?
Let's all be honest great get for a club that has struggled for a very long time, and if people really think the money is better at jacana then you haven't know about jacana for the last 10 years, so that says to me the size of there hearts taking pay cuts while still getting the job done

Fair reply though. My only question would be where is Jacana getting the money from. Both boys might take a bit less but still will be on huge coin for div2. Guessing a 1/3 of the supposed div2 salary cap is "pretty close". And most clubs would not even be working to the full cap of 150k.

But it seems Jacana are following in the Path of craigieburn a club who 2 years ago were Nearly Relegated.
Now splashing the Cash to make there way up the Divisions.
Will be interesting to see if Craigieburn do get Relegated next Year and Jacana win it like all Seems, The match up between Cloke and Craigieburn!

My only question would be where is Jacana getting the money from.

What I heard is Chris Johnson has secured them $300,000 from the AFL to turn jacana into a club that represents indigenous players similar to Fitzroy stars

They seem to have a lot of off field stuff going right for them at the moment sponsors and ex players returning

And with all the hype around jacana at the moment will encourage more businesses to get involved.... Cloke may end up making jacana more money than they are paying him with increased bar sales and sponsors

And there it is right there .... spending money which in turn can make the club money is proactive.

Was told by a very reliable source from Jacana at Windy Hill last year when they played off in the Grand Final, that big things were about to happen if not this year certainly next.

Curtis Stone doing the home ground barby?!!..lol. I'd swing past just to get a gourmet schnitzel roll..lol

Alot of old blokes heading back with some generous sponsorship coin for the club which is great, I just hope they use the coin wisely and think about the next few years rather than instant success which has the potential to backfire if blokes take the $$ and run.

Hopefully the standard of umpiring in this Division will improve at the same rate as Div 2 recruiting because the standard of footy certainly will...

Good luck to all clubs in this Division next year.. there will be more teams other than Jacana with some quality recruits and players returning home..mark my words.

You can have Fevola in your forward line but if your midfield doesn't deliver they are useless. Midfield will win next years Grand Final not Cloke.

i dont agree deliverybook. If the mail is right and young is at Jacana, 1. No c-grade side will stop Cam, and 2. if you do stop Cam, the Young and Kimulatis combination will prove to good for the c-grade competition.

Seen those pics of him and a few others and often wonder what would happen if they all came home and took the club to another level.
Would be quite daunting for opposition clubs to play at Mutton..

The club has got rid of the troublemakers for good it is a great place to bring your missus and kids....juniors flourishing...now, it is time to stamp there dominance in the league, a chance to grow players/coaches and instill a winning culture and produce more flags for Fawkner

I'd really love our functions to be supported a little better enhancing the atmosphere


We Will be really trying to think outside the box in terms of promoting the club and finding alternatives to raising funds from the traditional avenues of going cap in hand to sponsors




Without naming him there is someone at the club that wants to create a cafè down the bowling club end that will sustain the footy club with an extra source of revenue ... If it gets up and is successful brilliant idea


Many hands make light work though we can't rely on the few to do all the heavy lifting...
