Goes to show that a coach means everything haddy I will be going to roys too lost a gun players in abbz back to back medalist and back to back best and fairest at haddy
your lost but I wish you, s all the best for 2015

From my understanding the guys who have left this year that were required players all left for a lot better money, nothing to do with the coaches. If you can see past the chip on your shoulder over Claude not getting the job (he would of done a great job and is a great bloke) you will surely see that and stop taking pot shots at the club from behind the anonymity of a keyboard!

Bit of loyalty goes along way too

Seems these guys didn't get the result they wanted so all took off without giving the bloke a chance.... Buzza was one of my first senior coaches and could t speak highly enough of the guy

Dropping down two div 2 would have meant a fair crack at a flag for haddy at senior level

Wise words: the grass isn't always greener on the other side

Gee I have heard keilor park are going to be pretty strong this year?
Been a strange club KP

Came down front grade very strong but just couldn't get back up with the likes of mercuri playing

Favourite son Marcus Barclay came to coach for one year

Then fell off the cliff and almost end folded after having no coach for most of pre season a couple years ago

Maybe back on track now... Probably suffering from the worst location in the edfl Tula and pegs around the corner East keikor and keikor not far away

Good luck to them

East Sunbury commenced pre season last week with 62 players for the first training session. Plenty of new signings and talent hitting the track, bringing with it a great sense of optimism for season 2015. For those interested, East will be training Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Things looking good so far how many of that 62 can play football and help them win some games next season

I ain't going to provide a figure. What I will say is that the player standard has significantly improved and so too has the training standard. It's essentially a new club this year. Some key position players help improve the backbone of the senior team, with some handy outside additions.

The U18 talent is very very good this year and would not be surprised if they go deep into the finals in 2015. Many of those kids will get senior exposure along the way and will help build the club going forward.

62 prior to Xmas is a huge result for ES, if they can pinch a few players from Lions/Kangaroos/Rupo/Diggers then they could quickly become competitive and push for top 4.

Not much coming out of roxy according to a mate that plays there.... Says they're picked one bloke from haddy not sure who

hadfield getting a couple of the lebos who played a few years back in sammi saad who played at thomastown last year and A.T, who can add that grunt and fearness that hadfield used to be known for but hasnt had over the past couple last years but time will tell whether its a good move or not. not too much else coming out of there at the moment.

I have also played under him yeah he is a very good coach but sometimes makes a few mistakes I will only post good things about the 2s coach from no on as a few mates have got stuck into me about all this shit about the club

A grand final win is a grand final win no matter what you play. I know people who have played sport all their lives and never played in or won a grand final. Surely if you are the successful coach you deserve to get another chance at coaching the team again.
It is amazing how everyone is an expert about every club, whether it be players, coaches or committee etc......

Been playing footy since i was 7 years old and played in one grand final in all that time and got belted and that was in under 16's .... Am now 32 and have come to the realisation I'm not going to win one

They got rid of all of them a couple of years ago and now they go get them again. Wat does that tell u? Sammi saad is a very good footballer when switched on but is barely switched on. Most of the time he is a sniper just there to hit ppl which in my opinion is just a dogs act.

Imo Ahmed taha is now a 2's player.... Probably just a bit old now.... Know him well and was a decent player when younger but struggled for a regular senior game at Northern saints about 3 years ago when they weren't playing finals

Maybe haddy being in div 2 will cause him to get a senior game again though.... He Played a bit of reserves footy in div 3 nfl at Parkside when they were struggling but did kick some bags in the 2's

Throw in Lyndon Dunn they definitely must be doing something right with there juniors.

I really doubt clubs have that much to do with their juniors being drafted....

Might sound silly to some but I think its just more to do with the size of your player pool at the club and luck with the most talented kid living close to the club

At the end of the day if the kids are good enough they are going to make it regardless of what junior club they play at in my opinion as long as they are dedicated enough

The most talented junior player I ever played with and have ever seen never was drafted....

Don't get me wrong I'm Taking nothing away from the clubs that have players drafted... It's a great accomplishment for the player and the clubs
