Theres also a bloke for Marby who plays across half back, reads the play very well and is a thumping kick and likes to take them on.

Yes he is a very good player, let the Doutta people work that one out for themselves this Saturday.

Good win by Marby Saturday gone, second quarter was awersome, decent crowd in attendance and the marby barby at its usual best.

I heard John Barnes on the radio saying that Kade is one of the best park footballers running around, what are peoples thoughts on that comment?

I saw him last year get touched up by a guy from Marby park who just ran off him all day,no question he can play seeing that hes at geelong vfl but im interested to read peoples thoughts on him.
Ask the guys that played with and against him in the EDFL vs NFL last year. 10 goals and BOG in a very talented side.

If Ayres is out then you guys are a massive chance. Douttas are looking good this year, young Wright from Sunbury sounds like he goes alright.

be interesting game i think..

Anyway turned up to watch my club play Greenvale on the weekend and all of a sudden 3 Umpires ran out?????
yep thats right the EDFL had 3 umpires going around as a test on the weekend.
If i, as a supporter, wasnt confused with some decision making before try watching 3 blokes in orange make 3 different interpretations.:(

Great idea having 3, the forwards may actually get some free kicks but dont you think they would have tried to get it right with 2 first!!!!!

Shit i didn't know paul harrison was back, must be 40 by now......
How good greenvales first quarter saturday, unbelievable i say the stars couldn't touch it. :thumbsu:

Not so sure that is the case. Oak Park is 1 but nothing between Lakers, Paco and Tulla. It has shown in the sportbet betting. Oak $1.72 Tulla $5 Lakers $6 and Paco $6 for the flag.

Pacoe beat Tulla comfortably at Tulla

It will be a Oak Park v Pascoe Vale Granny and we know on that day anything can happen

I don't think it is that black and white but if you think so take the $6. Good odds for a 2 horse race.

However I don't think you can write off Tulla because of a round 1 loss and you may find there is nothing between Lakers and Paco as well. Ess beat the Hawks on the weekend comfortably - Bomber V Cats granny?

Yes im biased as im from Douttas but i also recognise talent and this guy has it(Kade), i watched that game last year and they guy from Marby who's name escapes me,receding hairline and pretty tall and was reagrded as a gun and apparantley has been for some time so obviously no slouch.

Yes he ran off a couple of times and had a fairly good game no doubt about it but i would say that it was a pretty even contest or Kade just in front or the other guy just in front anyway a good contest,Buddy doesnt dominate every game nor do most, well Ablett Jnr does :D but i think you will find he is respected as a player by most opposisition and highly regarded as a gun by most. And i guess if people from Geelong came down to have a look and he did play well there and a bloke like Barnsey who has been around for a long time rates him he's pretty good simple as that ;)

taylors are a good side but dont think there list is as good as paccos. they play well at there shithole ground.tulla and taylors will be very even. pacco did beat tulla pretty comfy at tulla. if you had to pick to grand finalists right now it would be oak park vs pascoe vale. anyone can win on the day as pacco do have some hard tough footy players. so top 4 should be pretty easily tipped. 5th place can please themselves

Good point but I dont think using the AFL as an analogy is appropriate

regardless, where do i get these odd's ? I will put some money on

Lakers started at 13/1 now into 6/1. I also think Greenvale is the best bet in the A grade. Keilor losing Hose and Salberg has hurt.

Tulla V Oak Park is big this week. Also Lakers play Tulla and Paco in the next 3 weeks so we should have a better idea of the biggest threat to Oak Park is.

The next three rounds will set the pecking order a bit - (5) Tulla V OP, (6) Tulla V TL and (7) TL v PV with the big one in round 13 TL v OP. Could it be the clash of two undefeated teams who won't meet again until the finals??

Still think that OP are an A grade team playing in the B-Grade comp. Personel, style of play , attitude - the whole package, really tough to beat, but so was Geelong !!

why would losing Daniel Sahlberg hurt, at his best he was only a 2's player at Keilor. And if Hose you are referring to is Houlihan, then I believe Keilor have done ok in replacing him with a younger and stronger key forward in Garth. ;)

Hard to replace a match winner like Hose. This kid maybe younger and stronger but if he is not better Keilor may find it hard to go back to back. If I was to back one at 3/1 my cash would be on Greenvale.

Oak park by 20 goals again this week Tulla terrible will struggle to make the five take all the odds on Oak Park they are a shoe in.

Got nothing on Greenvales MASSIVE choke last year.

Marbo finished on top in 2005 losing only 2 games and went out in straight sets - 2006 they finished top losing only 1 game and lost the Grand Final. Both years they were the "Oak Park" of the comp.

If Greenvale choke back to back then you can compare.

don't mean to be rude, but could someone please start a separate thread for B grade. i am sick of reading about the B grade dribble. i log on to read about the premium essendon league teams and players. cheers :)

Oak Park are about an 8 goal better side than the Marby of 2005 / 2006.
Just my opinion but we will have to wait until September to be judged ;)

The title says EDFL moves. I did not realise that it meant EDFL premium A grade only moves. Maybe you can make a quick change to you log on name - Instead of "EDFL Knowall" it be up graded to "EDFL A Grade Only Knowall". Cheers

For Oak Park to win they will need to be 8 goal better than Marbo of 2005. They did not even make the Grand Final that year.

Sorry EDFL Knowall - but Marbo are an A grade premium side and Oak Park should be.
