Could anyone give a brief rundown of the best players from todays match if possible and whether you believe greenvale can knock off marby in the grand final? thanks:thumbsu:
 
What is everyones tip for the comp medals???
I have really only seen A Grade so I think
1- Rhys Bloomfield
2- Heath Ayres
3- Rodney Van Reit
Smoky- Andy Nicholson

All this doesn't matter but I think you will find Douttas beat Oak Park at Douttas easily the first time they meet in 2008.
 
your right it doesn't matter, point was oak park, douttas and craigiburn were i effect all equal and all could have gone down (considering some of the behaviour from fans, coaches and players at crazyburn this year EMBARASSING A grade footy in the EDFL perhaps it could be said its a shame they weren't relegated!)

A Grade top 4 is very strong. Those below are terrible.

B Grade - the whole comp is terrible. Most that get promoted soon find themselves back down. The exception of course being the all conquering Marby Park who have the $$$ to be a power.

However, I heard loyal players (used very loosely) including Buttigieg are moving on to greener ($$$) pastures next year after they win the flag. Kyneton has been bandied about.

I wonder if a flag at Marby in 09 would mean as much as a flag at Keilor in 08 to former Keilor juniors Buttigieg, Whicello & Towner???

Its morans like you that realy dont know anything about footy. "the whole comp is terrible' Thats like VFL looking at EDFL A grade saying this comp is terrible. Just because edfl a grade doesnt have the coin that VFL doesnt have.

Im not argueing that A grade isnt a class above B grade. But when you normal B grade team spends around $50-$60K on a good year on players and you have reportedly your maybys and greenvale around the $300 plus. well you do the math. You get what you pay for. Of course its better.

I think B grade EDFL stanard is a fantasic standard for the amount of money that is spent vs other leagues such is western league and the like.

A fairly arrogant thing to say.

Buddy love, i went to watch WRFL Div 2 final on the weekend and Deer(4th) Park beat parkside(1st) for their first loss all year after having an average winning margin of 70 pts, off course it can happen!!

having watched paco on saturday and oak park the week before, paco dont have the class to stay with paco early, yes they have guts to come back and win but guts isnt enough to stay with oak park and then tyr ot wrestle the win late, oakers by 10 goals minimum

i think pacco should count themselves lucky to be there at all, player no 9 (who ever he is), decided to kick the ball backwards, not sure if it was a brain snap or arrogance, this with type of attitude will see them un-done!!
Even came off laughing about it!!!

Pacco's mids looked strong after half time and dominated the Lakers, that where i think the Panthers improved, haven seen one OP game, jusy wondering what/who to look out for come saturday!!!

can count themselves lucky for being there?? i dont think so champ. they fully deserve there spot in the grand final.have beat every side in the comp bar oak park. wouldnt classify that kick as arrogant, would rather call it a brain fade lol.

when u come off the ground laughing after you nearly cost your team the spot in a GF, then high fiving your team mates, that reeks of arrogance, it was spoken about during the game, were you even there???

As for them deserving, your right, but i was just saying that they were lucky to be there from a silly arrogant decision by one of their players.

Has the leauge medal for the A and B grade been counted yet?
Just wondering peploes thoughts on B grade, A grade has been spoken about , any thoughts on the B Grade meadlist??

you must be a sour taylors lakes supporter or something. who really gives a sh*t!!!!!

comp medals. couldnt go past jorgo i dont think, class all over. ayres will be close behind and 3rd could go to anyone..smoky though is andy nicholson.

b grade it will most likelyy be out of David james, matt morelli and paul koulouriotis for mine. oak park just share the load so cant see it coming from there. but if it were 2 i would go harrison
