lol yer real great fun for me, geez i'v been lucky with injury but i cant stand watching the game on the sidelines i was getting itchy feet and just wanted to run out there. Mcbride = freak needs a hair cut though, does young fluff, must be the inspiration from his girlfirend wathchin him this year pics gos alright i rate him, how did u pull up? still sussing u out mate thing u hav been telling lies bout your age. what do you think of the game this week someone was drilling me on the boundary saying that West Coburg was gonna pump us hope not but cant waite to see.

Watched three qtrs of West Coburg V Marbi. Although the ground was heavy i still think both sides are a little slow across half back. On that basis i think APW will really push West Coburg if they run and run and run all day. Marbi were stiff though with Westons turnover - unlucky, could have quite easily gone the other way. My prediction last week about Tulla top 3 at half way i think is safe, massive win for them on the weekend and now they have a fairly cushy run in the next 6 weeks. For me it's out of West C, Marbi, APW, Tulla, Paco and then an absolute raffle.

Havent heard anything schimma but l can tell you this, my boys played tulla last week and l have never seen parents and coaches box carry on the way they did. Yelling at 14 and 15 year old boys that they are f... c... and that they are dead after the game is the weakest thing l have ever heard in my life. So having said that and not knowing the circumstances, l hope that this did not actually occur.

Mate, as a coach of a junior side you would be suprised how bad some of the parents are at these games, in the u/10's we have kids sworn at by opposition spectators, runners and coaches, these kids are as young as 8, Its a discrace

The junior program down there seems first class !!!!

Pitty a lot of other clubs are not the same.

As late as yesterday, we have to complain to the umps about runner and waterboys calling our 10's D heads and the like.

Nah mate, the MVFC is Melbourne Victory, but yes the Moonee Valley junior program seems to be very good, the bloke that runs it down there is a level 3 qualified coach (the highest level) and spoke to us at our level one seminar.

Some of the abuse from these cowards you wouldn't here at a senior game.

and as for the umpires, the kids aren't much older, the EDFL wants more umpires, but who in their right mind would get up on a freezing sunday morning to be abused for an hour straight, something need to be done.

it is great to see that the passion of edfl footy is alive and well. you have not truely gotten a sprap until you have gotten one off the Douttas balcony. Strathmore are also a good side at dishing out the abuse. Maybe thats why they are the most hated teams in the edfl.

At the end of the day, its good for football to have great rivalries. Gotta love a bit of abuse when you play footy, keeps it interesting. As long as there is no violence and personal stuff is kept to a min, who really cares?

Disgraceful behaviour of the Douttas crowd after the game on on Sat. is part of the problem not the solution. You can have passion for your club and the game but try and keep some type of perspective on things.

Not sure WRFL fan, totally agree with you! I just can't believe adults would verbally abuse young kids.

Frustrated footballers, how must the kids feel it would be enough to make some kids want to stop playing. Maybe they should have a course like drink driving for parents that are repeat offenders, and tape them and show what they look like and how it effects the kids

Looks like strathmore can dish it out but cant cop it. They have to expect it dont they they spruke about how good they are and how they wont lose a game and all the rest of it and honestly with the recruiting they did they shouldnt have but 4 games in and theres one loss.

No such thing at League level fan man.

The league endorses the AFL fair play initiative and some clubs have tried to put something formal in place with limited success.

Is there soemthing the WRFL uses ??

How could I get a copy of it ??

I would certainly put in place if worthwhile at our club
