Got better things to do than watch the balconey boys abuse women and old blokes. Watched the Mores have a good second half against the cheap shot artists.

Well opposition clubs shouldnt play girls and old hacks!!!!!!! They know they will be abused. It is the opposition we are talking about?

Abers, interested to hear your views on why and where Strathmore will defeat Douttas on Saturday. In regards to player wise, player v player, that sort of thing.:thumbsu:

Only seen half a DS game this year so hard to say much about the great side going mainly on reports and Brickstas in depth analysis. From the Mores point of view their defence has been good all year with Little, Thomas, Gowland etc being very sound and conceeding not much. Mid fielders May v Hollow great to watch both playing good footy. Tate just going OK but due to throw in a blinder and loves the big stage. Holman a great consistant player who is yet to beat his old side so will be keen. Quinn gun player but can get beaten in the ruck early and tends to work back into the game around the ground then his ruckwork improves. Bottom line is you've got to kick a winning score and I can't see DS keeping Harvey, Winter, Campbell, Barnardx2 , Ogston and other assorted smalls from kicking goals. If they do good luck to them, if not Mores win.

Fair analysis Abers. Reports from Avondale that people believe Harvey maybe carrying an injury, though, with May - the one's Doutta need to keep a hold on. Agree with Quinn, but wasn't over-impressed against Doutta last time round, though has obviously improved. Felt they could've made more use of Winter last time around, but he'll be primed. I feel Tankard, Carey , Wooley and Turner could be the game winners for Doutta. Hollow v May won't happen, they'll both be tagged. So it does get back to Quinn v Bishop or Philpot. Bishop, as Quinn has done, has improved week by week. Should be a cracker, can't wait.

Yeah Bricksta, I've seen a couple, I usually get myself to the ground, living close by. They're travelling rather well, this week will test them. I seen the previous meeting where they lead all day, and then showd character to get the lead back towards the end of the game. There coaching staff have obviously done a wonderful job down there. People whinge and moan about the players Doutta & Strathmore have recruited, but the coaching staff still need to mould them. Kolyniuk obviously does a fair job, does he have many helpers/assistants, Bricksta.

I think you are correct Tony! Can I sense Bricksta getting defensive..
Also think that Williams for the Mores will be the surprise this week. Slowly regaining his fitness and will show his class on Sat.

True competitor..........oh is that what you call it. It used to be called low life scum when l last checked. it seems to me that he is known as a dirty prick and always will be. He seems to think that being tough is throwing his head around. So " Mr. Reality", tell your friend that because he didnt get a touch all day, there is no justifying what he did. The EDFL cant be serious with only 4 weeks, they should heck him off for good. There were kids less than 30m away when he did it and they couldnt understand why he did it. How do you explain that?
Mr Reality, no there are no rumours here, l was on the boundry line and saw it clear as day so stop trying to excuse him.
Gibson you are a disgrace to yourself and your club

the game this week will be an absolute cracker. It will be a classic battle of SM talls vs DS run. Im not sure who will tag Hollow (if at all), i cant really think of a SM defensive midfielder. On the other hand Douttas do have people to lay tags, they usually go with the Kid, not sure of his name ( i think he is number 23?). Not sure who you would tag from SM. Maybe you would tag Nutter because he gets alot of football, and i reakon you can stop a lot of his possessions. On the other hand, May needs to be watched, more so up foward than in the middle, becasue he always kicks goals.

there is no doubt douttas have the run but SM have the talls. Douttas will really struggle to match up three classey tall fowards. Last time DS kept Winter and Harvey relatively quite in terms of goals, but they let Williams get away.

IMO, i think on the smaller, heavier ground SM's talls will get taller as the day goes on. My tip is SM but not by much, maybe by 14 points. But the last time i saw douttas i saw a very ruthless, committed side, so who knows.

Went down and watched Marby V Jacana on the weekend watched Scotty Agresta kick 8 l remember watching in the DVFL Div 1 and him going well there and intresting l seen Ryan Gilpin is that the same bloke that molestered Nick Sauntnar whenhe was playing in the VFL and was throw out of the league? To see him playing Div 2 is a strange site he was a good defensive puncher not much else of a game not great skills but good full back if you want some to just shut down a player a punch punch punch but wouldnt let him kick out. Surley he would get a Div 1 game with the bottom three sides wouldnt he? Good luck to him seems to have dropped away from his VFL nasty shut down days.

WRFLfan, bit harsh on the great man that is Ryan Gilpin. Won a Cannons Best and Fairest and played a number of games for Coburg, like most players went back to his local club in Maribyrnong Park when Coburg was taken over by Richmond. It's a credit to him that he went back to Marby, despite playing at a high level, running like Michael Flattely and Marby being in B Grade. Enjoys playing with his mates and the Waterloo is only around the corner, One Bar Club Lounge is a drop punt away which are added bonuses.

As in malestering Sautner at Coburg that day, think you'll find that Sautner is a weak punce and Gilly beat him comprehensively in a one on one fight.
