Has anyone else heard about Avondale Heights pair Cameron Price and Boris Janezic venturing over to Maribyrnong Park? I've heard this one from a number of people.

Troy West is an old Strathmore boy, and I know they have tried to get him back there every year since leaving the doggies, If he is available and Hillie is ready to call it quits wouldnt surprise me to see him down at Mascoma St.

Mandarine man you would not want to bring Big Imports to Airport West and I am sure you would trust those in charge of recruiting to do the right thing and bring long term quality young players!

Jordan Doering is beleived to be in talks with Strathmore to take a position as a playing captain coach, has anybody else heard this? Also i have it on good authority that Simon Minton Connell will be playing out of the goal square at M.Park in B grade next season. Thanks for your time.

the doering rumour has been going around for a few years now, but my mail suggests that this year it might actually come to fruition. however im not sure how good my mail is on that one. have no idea about SMC, but his retirement seemed pretty final after the last game in 2006.

Heard that if Hille does Strathmore again, which I thought was a big possibility (could be wrong) teams like Greenvale are going to just try and develop their juniors because they just can't match the big dollars Strathmore are paying.

In saying that I couldn't see them knocking back quality players if they presented themselves.

Castello won't be coming to the EDFL, he's a very good VFL player with a lot of years of VFL ahead of him. Ramsey will stay at Douttas, they won't lose anyone. Carey has had bucket loads thrown at him, to his credit he is staying loyal to Douttas. Correct on Billy, he will decide whether it's Heidelberg (hoping to move to the Eastern FL), or back home to St Albans, within the next two weeks.

Exactly right Nemo, clubs like Greenvale, Douttas and Keilor will need to attract some improvement through their teams, and they'll need to throw some coin at fellas. I don't know if it's in the Clubs' interests in developing without results, because of the cash they throw around. Clubs are happy to get u/18 boys into Senior footy, but also want results when they spend up. The old Catch22.

Big chance Ramsay and Dorazio are heading somewhere in the GV, both young fellas are keen to play the best country footy. How do you think they would both go? considering the GV is alot more open and faster with alot of 1on1 contests, not as much crash and bash physical side of it.

I've heard, from a reliable source, that Tullamarine are planning to go on a spending spree, poaching the better Under 18 players from the stronger A Grade clubs. This could pay off if clubs like Strathmore, Doutta Stars etc. are going to continue to spend big $$$.
