Now on a serious note looks like next weeks games could be very important for a few clubs
C'Burn v Avondale-well i guess C,Burn have to win to stay in touch to finish top 4 and if they lose i would think they would struggle to make it and if the Heights win i reckon they wuold be in a reasonable posistion to nab that 3rd or 4th spot.
W,Coburg v Keilor-Like Avondale i guess who ever wins would be in a strong position to make the 4 and with Keilors percentage if they win you would think they would make it.I reckon they finish 3rd.
Douttas V Abers-Douttas form is very up and down and have alot of injuries/poor form so they may struggle to make top 4,i guess its lucky they are playing Abers this week,should give them a big percentage boost which they need and give them some sort of hope.

Massive win from Taylors Lake. Could there be as much as 80k difference in player payments between these 2 sides?

It's amazing what gets posted on here after a top side has a loss, but to post something like that you must have something to back it up......care to shed any light??

To question b) the answer is yes.They have done it in the past two years without a half decient twos side.
I stand corrected but I don't think Strathmore twos have made finals in the last two years and if they have they definately haven't won a game.
Fortunately for Strathmore, again Abers correct me if I am wrong, they have been very lucky with injuries in the past couple of years.

Not affiliated with Marby Mister X so wouldn't know.......just surprised by the earlier post about GA's company in trouble - i'd say that would be crap.
But in regards to player payments, interesting if true.......

If all this is true then all they're doing down there is embarrassing themselves. They have probably the best B grade team to ever be assembled yet aren't confident of winning promotion!?!? Maybe they should recruit a decent coach or maybe find at least one or two more players that aren't playing for the love of cash?? I'm sure they have their local content, and those who want to be at Marby, before I'm jumped on about that. But seriously, if they can't win it with their list then serious question marks......
i was at the greenvale on sat watching them beat strathmore and thats not the only thing they won all day, they are now clear favourites for the flag and it was nice to see al faraj of greenvale belt the crap out of strathmores john tate at half time which erupted in an all in brawl. greenvale won that battle too.
just a qwik question to all those out there. it mite seem pointless, but with both marby and sraty both paying out of their ears to bring back the silver ware who would win a game between them both at full strenth.
if all things go 2 plan they will play each other next year anyway, and if it dose happen marby will have to spend up big again to keep in the a-grade comp.

Marby would not make the finals if they were in A grade this year. Compare them to where West Coburg are this year. I don't think they would have done better than WC. A few in dad's army will more than likely retire at years end.
