"Good luck to them i hope they play well..." you've got to be kidding Bennyboy! You're still bitter about Tatey leaving and thats ancient history.
Not bitter one little bit about him leaving or these guys leaving , dissapointed yes but not bitter, The reason i used Tatey as an example was to dramatise it a bit and to let the 3 boys leaving know that some people may talk about them in the same way that they do tatey,

i have heard a few clubs are not happy with what has being going on and could boycott certain "media" organizations..anyone got any more info on this?
And what will this prove? Clubs need the support of the local press ( even though the read the match reports written by the team managers of clubs!!!!! Time will tell if local press are turned away from coaches press conferences, the president's lunches and the tribunal!

For gods sake this is local footy and i do agree that what is going on is not great but the edfl are mainly volunteers running the competition and the people in paid fields have no idea about the grass-roots of football. I know of a trainer who asked for $150 dollars a game to run water and she was quickly turned down but how far do we go?
It is running a different course at the moment but how long before we get a coach who teaches a team to flood and teach his players to bust their arse's to play that style of team football?

Dont worry im sure this we settle down when these mecernaries are turned on when they cant get a sniff. List management and the tpye of player is so important and it wont be long before this is looked at first and the dollars will come second......

Certain person's of power at GV have not trusted Pillios for a long long time before now... KD is a bit of a snake in the grass as he doesn't come across as much of a threat...but he's trying to poach players as well. If the Kent boys were to move I'd seriously doubt that APW would be the spot though. Another progression for local footy huh, now we have media personalities with serious conflicts of interest..... It never ends does it!!
Have heard of one club that was so incensed that Pillios used his footy show to accuse the particular club of making racist remarks at a game towards opposition players. His remarks were totally wrong, unprofessional and slanderous. And to think that this guy fronts up at the EDFL AGM each year with cap in hand for clubs to support his little ego trip. I don't think he will be getting much support for next year. The money spent on this show would be better spent with a new independent presenter who is professional enough not to overstep boundaries and understand when there is a conflict of interest.

Agree with you. Not sure all have in fact signed. But if they have I don't think they have really thought through the effect it will have on their ongoing relationships at Keilor.
Heard they are still training in the Keilor gym - wonder when someone is going to put a stop to that. Or could there still be some chance of them staying at Keilor??
Whatever happens you can only be aligned with one club especially when playing.

News comming out of the club has all but dried up. No-one seems to know who the coaching applicants are. All that is being said is that interviews for coaches & players are progressing.
Maybe Sticks has some better sources.

:Dwe will see soon enough:D
Your posts early in October were positive about Keilor's Juniors since then every post has been negative towards the seniors, nothing factual just negativity - could it be that you have your kids at Keilor and you are involved in the senior side of your club - Sydenham.
No wonder people drive past your club to get to Keilor with that type of mentality. Why don't you show some balls and pick a club and be loyal?

I'm interested to hear peoples opinions on how serious a threat Moneybags park will be this year... They have the cash, clearly. But do they have the right personnel to be competitive in A grade? Heard recently that Garbutt and Zerafa will be going around again, they've apparently signed the Keilor trio. There's the eternal talk of the Essendon trio, led by Bullen?? Thoughts. On paper, clearly some talented footballers....?????

l have never said anything other than the fact that KFC have the absolute best junior structure in the EDFL. Saying that a few players could leave is NOT being negative towards the club, its simply stating a fact. You are obviously from Keilor so you should be aware of the problems lm talking about. And as for my 11yo son, yes he does play at Keilor seeing as all his friends play there so dont tell me to be loyal idiot...........its called being a parent.

Haven't heard anything out of Craigieburn as yet.... though I'm led to believe they have some coin to spend in the next year or two. Until they recruit the cream to compliment their home grown talent they'll just be a competitive team making up numbers though. As for KP I wouldn't be expecting too much from them. If they could win as many as they lose I think Marcus and the boys down there should be happy...

Check your posts of 29 & 30 Oct - all your doing is shaking the tree hoping to get a player or two to go to your club. This not what is expected from a Keilor parent. By your own coments Keilor has a strong junior structure why would you attack the club via the back door.

I've heard Keilor arent the only ones in trouble next season. Talk is doutta's are set to lose a few of there top midfielders. Marby look like the favourites to get them at this stage. Theres a saying "money talks

Marby again?? They do realise that only 21 players can play at a time don't they?? I think it could only be good for the competition to have another competitive team in A grade but team chemistry could be a challenge for them with the names they're alleged to have aquired. Good luck to em'....

love to know where marby gets all the money from considering they don`t get a big crowd like clubs such as craigieburn. and how long will the money last before it runs out and the club gets in financial trouble again
