Billythekid - They were definately Doutta's supporters. I am sure one was a Tankard (looked chubbier than the others) and they were heavily supporting the Stars and giving Marbo Park players some stick.
Shocking to hear RACISM still in local football.
Again, they stood there like statue's when Marbo Park piled on about 7 goals in 15 minutes.
Still thought Doutta's coach Brian Grey spoke very well at the last break.

Brave man you are, bet you would not have the guts to make the accusation to his face, because at the end you would not have one!! As for racism there were a few well known Marby supporters in front of pavilion hurling a bit around on the day, obviously you have selective hearing.

Does the EDFL have an A grade Anzac Day game planned? Think its a good idea to allow more people to see the standard of footy. the WRFL has Sunshine playing Spotswood at home on Friday, will be interesting to see how big a crowd there is.

Now mooks, EK will go ok this year. They have picked up 5 or 6 Donvale players which are EFL Div 1 for anyones intuition. Along with some other good recruits and the handy core players from last year, its a good mix.

Did you actually read the bit in brackets?????

Let me re-phrase that.

Number 13 for Marby is Matthew Towner.

He is one of the Keilor boy's who departed at the end of the season also with Buttigieg, whichello & Bailey.

Towner had a sensational year last year, stiff not to make team of the year and was a rookie listed player at Essendon couple of years back.

Got off to a great start with his new club Marby on the weekend.

Towner has never been rookie listed. Tried out to make their supplementary squad, but did not make the cut. Did have a top season last year.

lucky i didnt play marbyarmy, i would toweled up ben fletcher!!

douttas just need to be a bit smarter and get a bit more direction and well be fine. looking forward too round 10 when i run through one of you chumps!!

What I what to know is will you be at Doutta Stars by Round 10? Doutts told you to leave once before, St Albans told you to leave last year, Marby told you to leave a few weeks during the preseason.
My bet is that you won't be at Doutta Stats by round 10, and please don't compare yourself to Ben Fletcher and Go Marby!

Marby are playing Avondale Heights on Sunday this week in a local derby clash at Marby.
Come down and have a look get a beer or soft drink and get a bit to eat from the canteen, should be a big crowd and Go Marby!

Glenroy play Westmeadows don't they at Glenroy?

Does my old mate Tom Delaney still play down at Glenroy? If so, how is he going? Played with him a few years back and he was as tough as nails. He used to terrorise opposition midfielders with his huge frame and pasty white skin. It was all a front though bcos we all know he doesnt mind the occassional dabble with the opposite sex. I will never forget the show he put on for us all at 1-bar that night with that bloke. One of the best ever.

All the best for the season mate.

Echuca Boy,

Griggy and co. might be the nuts and bolts of the cougars for the next few years.

i wouldnt be surprised if the boys from east keilor make the top 4.
after last years poor performance, surely they will bounce back. some good old and new inclusion in the team will see them beat some top opponents.

I hope your right mate, EK is a proud Club and dare I say it an A Grade club. There is a good mix down at the club and quite a bit of piss being drank of a Saturday night which is always a good sign. Ecspecially when the pots are a bit cheaper for the uni boys!!

Time will tell......

I left doutta after 2006 too go play under kolyniuk for 2007, no other reason. i managed too get myself into a punch on with one the clubs drunken supporters, so i quite st albans and was not sacked.. and as for marby i didnt get along with adam smith and his commando coaching style. i could of walked back into marby but i chose not too and marby waited for my decision and than got on the forum and told everyone i got given my marching orders, load of shit!!

as for ben fletcher, his a pretty boy soft coc who only dominated a player he was quicker than.

he trained twice throughout pre season and ziros rocked up late march, what a club...

all credit too marby doh they are the real deal!!!!

dont get on here and talk s h i t mate.

we gave you a chance and it didnt work out, no need for the personal attacks on smudgie, fletch or ziros. Not one single person from marby has got on here to bag you and we won't. WE ARE NOT DOUTTAS AFTER ALL, who seem to eat their own, but then seem to regurgitate them and act like nothing happened between them when they feel the need.

I'm not sure who gave you the impression that you could walk straight back in to the club but that is certainly not the case. Marby will not tolerate any player standing on the side lines calling coaches/assistant coaches pieces of s h i t simply because you were taken off the ground as part of a rotation in a practice match

Not a dabble with the opposite sex!
Bloody straight footballers make me sick.:D

Yeah I did. You were suprised by how much EK won by weren't you? I was just explaining that we have picked up a few that go alright. A lot of people predicted Sydenham to knock us over or we win by about 3 or 4 goals. Personally I thought we would win by 10+ and we ended up winning by 20.

Bucksaway I think you will find Ben Fletcher was at Essendon Cricket Club til late march with his commitments there. They train two nights a week and the fitness work gets pretty intense. I'm sure if he only did 2 sessions he would be right up there or pretty close to it with all the other blokes there.

It is hard to eat your own when nobody playing for you is from Marby!!!!

Christ the bloke works in the fitness industry give him a break. He came up to Broady to have a run in March and he was pretty fit then and moved freely. I'm sure everyone who needed to knows were aware of the cricket commitments which is all that matters surely.

GA who is a top man told me too just forget about what happened and apoligize too smudge, his a mouse.
so what i am basically saying is if i really wanted too be at marby i could of worked things out.
fletch is a top bloke no doubt about it and a great footy player, if i was playing on him id treat him like a pretty boy and push him around and ya will find he wont go near the ball.

Barts?

who are the new ek players?
they seemed to have made an impact.

The boys will be a force at Bay 13. the cougars will dominate at home. but i think away. they will struggle. hopefully they will make finals this year.
they are definately good enough to be a contender for the final 5.
